Great honest review. You've provided a more information than the Major Fitness website. The company needs to have your URL on their website so people can review before they buy. The review provided assurance for my recent purchase of this rack. Thanks brotha!

Thank you for the compliment! I appreciate it. Did you get the Easter deal? Also make sure you get the $50 dollars off for signing up with your email. Thank you again for the feedback. I understand it’s hard to buy something sight unseen, so I get as thorough as possible. Enjoy the F35! I sure do. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Great review. Your review is what convinced me to buy! I find it odd that yours rattles though. Mine is completely solid with almost no shake whatsoever. I wonder if it could be my rubber flooring helping with that or perhaps slight variance in production.

I have the f35 also, id recommend installing on your garages back wall to avoid the slope that most garages have,it should be more level, a stringer board is absolutely needed for wooden studs, I've had mine since mid February and I'm a little disappointed in the quality of the coating/painting already chipping, I'm not man handling the spotter arms and j cups or pulleys but its chipped a bit, also be sure to fully assemble and lock the the pull up bar into place prior to attaching the rack to your stringers to maximize any free play in the pull up bar and adjusting pins, i attachdd my rack without it in place and the pull up bar is a bit tight but has settled in now. Id be comfortable in dropping 400 pounds on his rack no problem so for just about most people i think its safe they will never test the rigidity of the 14 gauge uprights
@jarontaliman1
@jarontaliman1 4 месяца назад
Also my pulleys could be needing some additional lubrication, they are tight when doing fully opened flyes , but otherwise work well enough for any other exercise
@AviatorsGarage
@AviatorsGarage 4 месяца назад
I would have put on the back wall but it’s impossible for my set up. My garage has a ledge in the back that is like a step that goes the entire back wall and is about 2’ 1/2 wide. The F35 wouldn’t be able to fold or close. For other garages I agree. Yes extremely important to mount to the wall fully assembled. I’m doing an update video soon of the use wear and tear aspects. I have paint scraping but nothing major…. All my work out equipment has scars and a tale to tell. I’ve enjoyed my F35 very much and it definitely has added some power back into my physique. I’m very happy about that.

John, thanks for posting the review. IM currently stationed on Fort Novosel, and have been thinking about getting a home gym for a while, really interested in this system. How do you feel about the stability of the front two post with the wheel system? After continued use have you noticed any sagging from the post or damage to your floor? This is the number one contender I think to go with, but Im hesitant, as I've never seen a rack that has wheels at the bottom at.
@AviatorsGarage
@AviatorsGarage 4 месяца назад
Ben first and foremost thank you for your service. I was at Fort Novosel when it was called Fort Rucker many moons ago. I have to be completely honest and say I’m impressed by the F3 5 and it’s extremely sturdy as long as it’s put together correctly and well. Nylon wheels at the bottom. I have been abusing back-and-forth because I’ve been using the heck out of this equipment. As far as any type of sagging, I have not seen it anywhere. But for the record, I’m not lifting as much weight as I used to when I was in my 20s however, the whole set up is rated to hold 660 pounds which I’m sure it could do no problem. I think the key to putting this thing together is making sure that you level the system as best as you possibly can when you mount it to the wall that it will be attached to. I took extra special care, making sure that every piece was level and perpendicular as it should be before I completely bolted it in. if it’s going to be in a garage and it’s on the sidewall, you have to note that there will be a pitch and you have to count for that. But thank you for reaching out. I appreciate it and I’ll take another video showing how it’s been holding up with the wear and tear. But as far as saving this rack is by far the best one that I have seen in professional gym, set up and anywhere else in the CrossFit world because of how it folds up and also has a cable system. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I really appreciate you watching.

Amazing review! So detailed. I’m looking to build a home gym and so far this is my favorite rack I’ve found. There’s hardly any cable racks that fold and I really want the folding. Can you please update how the cables are holding up? After adding the grease does it feel like a commercial cable tower? That’s my only concern as I use a ton of cable exercises
@AviatorsGarage
@AviatorsGarage 4 месяца назад
Great question! It’s been absolutely fine. The grease helped a lot. As a matter of fact, they have gotten better since time has gone on. I think you will like how wide you can adjust the cage to do wide pulley exercises. This is the only folding power rack that does (that I’ve seen). It’s been a great addition to my home gym. Just note you will need many variations of Olympic plate weights to get the weight you want on your cable system. Thank you for the comments. And thank you for watching. Please feel free to reach out anytime if you have questions!

The pull-up bar cross bars are oddly spaced. Why is there a bar dead center? There’s no way to do parallel grip chins without being way off to the side.
@AviatorsGarage
@AviatorsGarage 3 месяца назад
That’s a great question. Yes you do have to be on one side or the other to do those parallel chin ups… @major-fitness why was it designed that way?

Hello John, thank you for making this video man. This thing is sweet and im thinking of buying. In regards to the brace boards you bolted to the wall, would you mind telling me the height of the top board from the floor to the bottom side of the top board, please? Reason being, theres is an electric panel adjacent to the area i want to install this unit and i need to see if the height would clear my panel. Thank you in advance!

As far as the mounting point that go into the wall- the top point sits at about 82”1/2 inches to the bottom of the floor. The bottom of the mounting point (top one) is 76”1/2 inches. Now the bottom mounting point top part is 17 1/2” inches and 11 1/2” inches on the bottom (all measurements come from floor. The width is about 47” inches centered on all mounting points. Hope that helps
