Who ever that scammer was hope the money does them no good, let's jump in there and hit that like button show how much support jt has and they have none. Enjoy your videos watching from Ireland
@jtsbarnngrill6873 if you sent the payment online, file a fraudulent transaction report with whoever you sent it through. In the case of a bank transfer, call your bank and submit the report and request it be reversed, then call their bank and do the same again. Hope you get the money back and the scammer gets exactly what they deserve.
I almost never comment on the videos i watch on YT, but yours are special to me. My father was a small-acre farmer in KY. I remember the day in 1961 our first MF 35 Diesel Deluxe was delivered along with several implements. He so loved that little beast (as did I). In 1965, he upgraded to a 135 Diesel Deluxe, then added a 165 Diesel Deluxe in 1968 to farm river bottoms he leased from the Corp of Engineers. Every time I watch one of your videos, it takes me back to the days of riding beside him leaning back against the fender of the 35, and then later operating the 135 and 165 with him as a team. Thanks so much for your love of old Masseys. Every video you post makes my day!
I grew up on that Massey era and I saw them perform brand new, throughout all my life I wanted to own a 1150 Massey,, I'm 64 years old now and I know that's not going to happen,,but at least I did see them perform!! congratulations JT you got a piece of history and top of the line technology way ahead of their time, again congratulations to you JT,God bless you,, you are so clever!!
Enjoyed todays video JT. It doesn’t matter if it’s a dollar or a thousand dollars, it makes my blood boil to see anyone scammed. Sorry you had to deal with that BS. Looking forward to seeing your 1150 be returned to her glory! Take care, stay safe till next time. 🤜🤛
Love your channel man! I’ve always had an eye out for an 1150 for a resto project myself but like you said, you just don’t see them every day. You found a real peach, I’m enjoying your progress!
Watching you on these tractors has taught me a good bit on working on these machines! Coming from a Deere guy I just bought a 1135 for a chore\hay tractor! Can’t wait to get it in the field! But first I gotta find a set of three point arms to put on it
Back before home depot thinned it down, they used to sell a purple degrease by the gallon that would take grease, and sometimes the paint underneath off. Happy that you have found a product that works for you
That's a fine looking tractor under all the filth. I'm happy you found this tractor, and you are definitely going to save it. You have a great Chanel JT.
Takes a little more effort than washing the car or truck. Glad to see you remove those fenders without hurting yourself. Look forward to the next step.
JT, that tractor is gonna look real damn good once you're done with it, don't matter how much money you got to spend on it, somewhat straight panels and some decent paint gonna make that tractor basically new, she'll treat you real good. i'm sure she'll roar to life every chance she gets and ready to work. i love watchin your videos and i wish the best brother. semper fi! go big blue from winchester KY!
Waiting for the day you get a 180 on your farm. Love ours on our farm. Used it to haul chopper boxes back in the 80s and it would pour out the black smoke going up hills.
Nice job dude I am really excited about that tractor I love that thing and I think it's going to sound great with a straight pipe on it I can't wait to see it finished this is a great project I'm so happy for you that you came across that it couldn't have gone to a better person
Cold water and grease is a nightmare! LA Awesome from a dollar type store is one of the cheapest cleaners you can buy and works amazing well on grease. Pump sprayer, grab a beer, pressure wash, repeat. Save the high dollar degreaser for the final pass. Every dent on every tractor has a story to tell. When restoring an Alis, we saved an ugly coat hanger weld. There isn't many people who even know what a metal coat hanger is today let alone that you can weld with one and a battery. Ugly but it got the tractor out of the field and back to work. Love your channel.
When you take the fenders and hood side panels off you really see how well made Massey tractors are ,and the rear end, and lift are second to none you hardly have any problems with them iron built in them tractors as a Massey man myself I know I have drove many models on the farm it will super nice when you get it finished a keeper for sure
Nice job. You're still very lucky and blessed to have such a beautiful tractor 😂. Nice to see the multi power works. Hopefully you get her painted and maybe the other point working. 🎉
Hi there JT, I’m one of your fans, I fitst true job was working for a Massey dealer, which put me through college. Have you ever used a Milton S157 Siphon Spray Blown Gun? It works great for degreasing, greasey tractor, you just plug it in to your air hose and tube into gasoline or a solivent. Keep it up, your beginning me members, all the Massey family of farm equipment. Amazon has the blow gun, for $18.85 LDC from south Texas
Thanks for the video. Indeed you fought the dirt, oil and grease. I hope you will find an affordable pressure washer with a boiler. That will melt the oil and grease off a tractor.
Hi from New Zealand JT! What an awesome find! I'm sure the 1150 will look amazing when you've worked your magic on it! Not many 1150's were sold new in NZ but there are still a few around - mainly in the South Island. I'm very envious, but that tractor couldn't have gone to a better guy! Enjoy your videos!
We bought a Case Ih 1455 out of France which was obviously a tillage tractor. We removed the cab as part of restoring the machine and we now have an acre of French countryside here in Ireland.
Dude, you have got to try purple power!! We use it on all of our heavy equipment and it removes grease like nothing. We buy it in 5 gallon buckets and use a garden sprayer to spray it on tractors, dozers, excavators, skid, loaders, etc., it’s the best.
I Like that tractor you got lucky and I am glad for you. You were talking about ththe straight pipe on it I had a neighbor that ran one on his from the first day he got it I think he farmed 500 acres and back then they plowed everything anyway there was non of the no till back then. He had a field about three miles away as the crow flies and you could hear every round every time it pulled down .anyway that farmer went deaf at the age of 40 so yeah probably need a muffler if you take it to the field. Of course he ran a straight pipe on every tractor he owned so he never had a chance. Keep the videos coming loved them all
Ole Lt Dan is looking good ! Zeps heavy duty degreaser concentrate is some really good shit. I mix it up in a 1 gallon sprayer. If you use it full concentrate it'll eat the grease up, but if you have anything aluminum it will bleach it out ! Great video ! Hello Fluffy !
Love your videos. And now I know why our 1105 kept jumping out of high range! We put a giant clevis hook on the shifter to get it to stay in gear. Can not wait till next video.
Carma will get their ass JT.....love that Massey ....she gonna look bad ass when ur done.....just like ur other Massey's....keep up the great work and the great videos
I think that someone before you was experiencing overheating problems judging by the weird overflow pipe. Judging from the photos I seen, I am pretty sure that there was a rad shroud on this tractor
My 3545 was like that when I got it. Unbelievable crusty but the steam cleaner several times finally got it clean. Several oil leaks and hydraleaks fixed now but a few more to go. Hope it will be as nice as your tractors when I finish
Amazing how much better that tractor looks with a bunch of washing. Tractor was a good find for ya. Good luck on your hunt for a grill. I sure like your outtro’s. 🤣👍🍻
It really cleaned up well i have a steamer now but when all i had was a cold water washer i would wash it run it a summer keep working on it and it would come clean im happy you safed that tractor i have ji case stuff but i love all brands great video
Nice one j.t. I still can't believe how lucky you got that tractor. She still needs bit more cleaning. But she looking good. You no you can get a small water plaster now they are so good no mess just water they do a great job. Sorry you got done over on the nose cone. Feeling bad for you. But great video as normal. From Andy in uk
Awesome content JT. Just a suggestion here, you could wire in a relay switch with a fuse which is activated every time the key is on. Very inexpensive and simple. Any auto parts store sells not only the relay but also the relay receptacle. That configuration would maybe save you heartache in the long run.
Whatever you paid for that thing you got pretty lucky, there was an 1150 in working condition, looks almost identical to yours, went for 18,000 in southern Ohio, me and my boss went and looked at it a while ago. Someone bought it a week after we looked at it, me and him were gonna go 50/50 on it and I was gonna repaint it for an FFA project. Good luck on that thing
😁 Feels more better after a bath. Fan shroud is another part missing . dual stacks ? Hot shot secret additive could clean up some of that smoke. great video thanks
Very good video, I googled the 1150,and found out it was made between 1970 and 1972, and it has a 510 Perkins v-8. Damn that sounds powerful right there. not to mention that it looks sharp and sounds sharp. You have to say that this is the find of the year out of a junk yard, It is going to be one of the prettiest tractors on the JT's Farm. I can wait for it to get all painted up. On a side note, have you thought about a overhead crane for all that lifting that might be sketchy. Something like a cherry picker or a gantry crane would work ok..just be careful, see ya on the next one.
That is a beautiful tractor. Still a bit worrying to why it was scrapped. . There was a neighbour of mine here in Ireland he cut up 3 good zetor tractors . Just didn't want anyone having them people can be strange. I hate scammers
I am going to bet the 1150 is going to give the 1155 a run for her money. Looks like the 50 might be turned up a bit. It’s going to be a sharp tractor when you’re done. Thanks for the videos. Hopefully you find a nice nose piece and grill.
Thank you for your great videos. At some point, you said you lived really close to Lake Huron. On one of your videos could you take a drive and show us how close you live to the lake providing you have a view.
Excellent video JT :) also may Lol at this when Restoration my late Dad & Late Uncle his brother 1963 McCormick- International B414 Loader tractor Desiel motor, the tool box was on left fender above axle and exhaust tail it fell of when took tractor to pressure vehicle washer ! But was okay the fenders on parts tractor I had better shape plus tool box like mint condition! Plus also muffler plus tail pipe blew of after washing it like big bang was funny to ! But tractor still lives on today and saw last year when had do some work on it new owners home farm have it too! But tractor it works like fix up yesterday and too! Also JT did want ask did ever work a Massey Ferguson 6 cylinder 364 motor that use Combine #505 and not sure of tractors models! Why ask because my late Cousin had in 1975 Dodge D350 1 ton Extended Van was Ambulance and then when hospital retired it he bought it fix up to Camper van 2 people type also has a truck Creeper 4speed Overdrive Manual transmission and axle last hear was 390 ratio yes van is loud! No Turbo on Massey Ferguson Combine motor in Dodge van ! It amazing to!
Enjoy your videos. I also like to buy old tractors a fix them up. I am on number 4 right now, a Zetor 6245, not as brand loyal as you but notice besides the Massys you also like the John Deere and the Steiger Bearcat. Like you, I know nothing about the tractors I get, just figure it out as I go. Think that is why I enjoy your video so much. Also the funny stuff at the end. LOL
Going tonbe another sharp tractor when you get her makeup and lipstick done back up. You may need an extra suitcase weight or two to replace the weight she lost after getting all of the dirt and grease off of her. Thanks for sharing the transformation. It is great to see the old iron come back to life. Great work JT.
As always, another Enjoyable video. There's just something about those V-8 Perkins. Maybe a Turbo and a trip to the County Fair Pull ? Hmmm 🤔. A suggestion. Amazon has a "Turbo" nozzle for your pressure washer that works really well for chewing up greasy messes. I bought one a couple of years ago and it works great. When they first came out 15-20 years ago, l remember them to be about $80-100 bucks. I think I gave about $20 for mine from Amazon. As for degreaser, I use Castrol Super Clean. A spray bottle of full strength for Heavy Grease and dilute for other projects. I got my wife hooked on it for kitchen grease on the stove and range hood. She also uses it as a stain remover in the laundry and around the house. Just sayin' . I know, long winded. The wife reminds me all the time. 👍🇺🇲. Oh, and this is for Fluffy, 🙀.
Really hate scammers, they ruin everyone's fun and steal from good people like you JT. Hope you get some grille pieces coming your way and thanks for brightening everyone's day with your videos :D
Good Morning J T, I swear what has happened to our society? Crooked people are everywhere. Scammers galore. And you can't be sure about anyone anymore. It really sucks that someone scammed you on those parts. 😮 Maybe they will refund your money, but it doesn't sound good. 😢 Have a great day ,even though it's raining. Keep Smiling.
By now there has to be a dedicated following of Massey Ferguson operators on this channel. This is off topic but has anyone used a 510 or 750 combine to harvest clover seed? The gleaners are becoming scarce but there seems to be a fair amount of 510’s, 750’s and 850’s. My neighbor cut 20 acres for me last night with 2 F2’s a humming along at 1.5 mph. They each own a parts machine as well.
