"Twisted" is about feeling closer to someone when they're gone. I wrote a story to sum up the meaning, a girl's father passes away and she is going through his things, and realizes she didn't know who she was when he was younger. It's akin to when a relationship ends, when you go through your memories with the person, you may realize things were a bit different, now that it's gone.

I love how the song isn't as intense as the others, it kinda serves as like a break in between everything else and is meant to be a bit more poetic in a way. Like all the rest it's going on my playlist 🤩😁

I’ve been in this exact mind space for the past few weeks. If you do a remix of this one, i need more from 2:47 to 2:53. When you extend the word "Be" as the beat sorta stops, and then we get that base in the background. I dunno what it is but goosebumps every time.
