1:03 CORRECTION: I've accidentally put the fire rate on the status line for the Telos and Prime variants. The correct values are: 9.33% Boltor, 10.67% Telos, 20% Prime. The actual suggestions are correct. This is an overlay issue only.
Ill give you 2 reasons to use the boltor over the Telos or the Prime. A; If you have no platinum, and duviri resources are easy to get so just use normal boltor till you get the prime. B; Grinding syndicates, especially syndicates that are opposing the ones you currently have maxed, Is an annoying pain in the ass, and honestly not worth going directly opposite when getting to rank 5 red veil is annoying enough. That being said, selling augments when in a blue moon you actually have buyers, can technically get you the plat for the prime. So Unless youre already max arbiters Id say normal boltor for ease of access till you get the plat for the prime. I cannot find relic cracking a reliable method of building anything as if i can spend 30 radiants and still not get Khora prime neuroptics id say there are some things that you just have nearly no chance of getting.
I rune mine as corrosive + cold (thanks to a CC + elec + tox riven)+ radiated reload with the frostbite, using the crit and status chance evolution since I got the CC riven. It is just great fun having a machine gun like this.
Just got a nice riven for the Boltor and my boltor prime has forma from the old days. Just waiting for the incarnon to show up and ill be building this baby. This gun carried me way back 2015-2016
This is very useful *considering I was planning on getting the bolter incarnon like 2 months ago* looking forward to using the bolter incarnon with my Harrow prime or limbo prime (despite mostly being hated I use limbo prime to get into the hundreds of thousands of damage with rift surge and the argument) Because high skill + high damage = high reward Something I like rather than high damage = high reward
Been using this for a while now and it hasn't budged from being my main since it's first rotation. Personal load out is viral slash with a bit of crit with merciless. Combined with my Sevagoth's Reap, the damage vulnerability of slash procs is nearly 7x the base damage with about 35 slash procs a second in incarnon mode. Currently also waiting for DE to change status effects. If so, I may shuffle up what I have.
I was never a fan of the boltor family of weapons. I had an incarnon adapter and never bothered to install it. After seeing this video, I thought what the hell, I'll give a try. WOW! Now my favourite primary!!!
What I wanna know is why the butchered the boosts from the final evolutions so hard on the Telos Boltor. Like, what reason is there for the Telos variant to get less than half the boost as the Prime from Survivor's Edge? And on that note, what reason is there ever to take Commodore's Fortune over Survivor's Edge, since you only get 2% more crit and lose out on 4% status? Do DE just kinda hate the Telos Boltor and want everyone to use the Prime instead? It makes no sense that a weapon that already has better base damage gets that much better Incarnon Boosts. Usually, the opposite is the case, where the stronger the variant at base, the smaller the boosts it gets. It almost feels like they were compensating for that bug and forgot to reverse it once they fixed it.
Hey there Mister Kengineer! I'm a relatively new player, and I'm doing my first lich. I saw that you made a guide on killing liches, and I wanted to know if the video is still relevant 2 years old now? Also, would using Ivara and Magnus prime with the crit setup work as a combo?
Even if the boltor was bad I’d still use it because holy shit that *sound*. It truly makes you feel like you have unlimited daka and that that wall over there needs a new layer of corpse plaster.
Sorry I'm catching this one a couple months late, but wouldn't the lower status chance of the telos be okay since you're doing SO MANY hits per second? You'll hit status cap very quickly but miss out on the extra crit, no?
We’ve got so many DPS increases for guns from outside sources that the lower stats of the Telos do not really matter (things will ded anyway), unlike the Truth buff giving you speeEEeEeEeEeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEED
You can remove the Incarnon adapter from the Telos and put it on the Prime variant, the only thing you will loose is the crafting materials for the adapter
remove the incarnon from the telos will refund the adapter but not the resources, so you can either just get a new one later or if you're that desperate swap it out. I would personally just get another adapter as you will not need to reunlock the nodes anyways and the resource cost is the same basically.
what rivens can you recommend for this. currently i have rolled one that is 195% crit chance but with +75 % fire rate so i have replaced critical delay with it which isnt bad but i think it can be better. Maybe just a riven thats rime rounds but better, or generic multishot cc cd?
@@eventhorizon9598 bro, your comment gave me chills remembering "the good ol' days" 😂 that dragon nikana got promoted to nikana prime and it's still being used to this day
I have a build with radiation and toxic....i use the Primary Blight arcane....then i add Hunter munitions.....the DOT from slash AND toxic procs just kills everything in this game. Corpus shields basically dont exist thanks to toxin bypassing them. Then i have 2 rivens....1 with CC and fire rate.....the other is 120 multi and punch through......so i use one on Telos and the other on Prime
I use mine with a CD, MS, and Punch through Riven. Corrosive as my main element. The punch through just adds that bit of aoe from hitting multiple targets at once. This weapon and the Paris Prime are my favorite incarnons.
Man, I remember when this gun was Meta. Back then, Saturn's Skybox on the Liset was different compared to what we have. Incarno really do breathe a new lease of life to those forgotten weapons.
Does Galvanized Aptitude affect all Incarnon weapon evolutions that increase base damage or is it case by case basis. I'd like to know for Soma especially
modded it for typical viral/hunter munitions, was kinda meh, but your weird cold radiation build slaps, i have a cc/cd/reloadspeed riven and this thing is just a constant barage of dakka, no downtime whatsoever, feels almost as good as the braton now.
anyone else having issues with completing the Evolution 3 challenge, where you need to get kills with the Incarnon form? I can't seem to figure out why, but the game will not recognize my incarnon form kills no matter what mission type i do
Can we get an update on Kubrows and modding them? The companion rework should have made them fair a lot better to other companions with the right mods.
I think if you optimize the build for the telos you will get better ttk on majority of enemies but ttk will be negligible until like lvl 300 steel path
Boltor was my first ever Incarnon, and it's still my favourite to this day. Granted, it helps that I managed to roll an absolutely godly Riven for it. Together with Crit Delay, it puts my Boltor Prime's crit chance in Incarnon form at about 183%.
It's because the incarnon form has base multishot like shotguns. With 3 shots, for a 4% increase in average per trigger pull, what you get is a 1.33% increase chance of status for each bullet, as mentioned in the video. You can find out exactly how and why by googling "warframe shotgun status chance".
How do you get that crosshair? Is it a option in the settings or is it just parts of certain guns? I'm so confused I've I've trying to find that crosshair for a bit and have no luck finding a answer
That'll be TheKengineer special, a typo in the overlay. There's one in almost every video. I've accidentally put the fire rate on the status line because that's how I'd ordered it in my notes. The correct values are: 9.33% Boltor, 10.67% Telos, 20% Prime.
@@TheKengineer Thanks, I always enjoy your style of breaking mechanics down. I really like the Boltor so I'll probably get 2 adapters eventually, but start with the Prime thanks to you !
@@xXSonyKilerXx It really really was. I remember the biggest argument for the boltor being better was simply it being SLIGHTLY harder to acquire back then. But i might be making shit up in my head.
Man whenever I see one of these videos and then realize you have to set your calendar to be able to get these weapons and play when the game wants you to, and then you can't even play your favorite loadouts in these missions, I immediately lose the will to pick up the game again.
Have you tried dual toxocyst incarnon? Theyre the perfect match to this one. I was struggling with eidolons then i got those and they are devastating against synovia and everything in the game so far really.
Not like you scewed. The prime is vaulted so cost some plat or alot of effort farm aya and relic, the Telos on outer hand is easier to access since you only need to farm some resources and a month (maybe) to get it.
Telos Boltor Supremacy Gang let's get a thumbs up and make this the top comment edit: A bit of an explanation as to why in my opinion, the Telos version is not worse than the prime version: I say not worse, because "better" is a flexible term. Sure, the Telos version has lower status chance, but status doesn't matter when you oneshot a level 300 steel path corrupted heavy gunner with one trigger pull. The critical chance bonus that the Telos version gets isn't gamebreaking, but it's nice to have, as you can take advantage of any rivens (if you have them of course) I do have a good riven for mine, so my telos boltor performs perfectly. It really depends how you build the weapons, and what stats you prefer to have in the end.
while i really like your videos, i stopped watching after i saw "The Circut". i intensely dislike that and never even finished it once. too bad so much good items are locked behind it.
Oh jesus it was an entire year already since they are realised but everyone think that they should make an another video on top of inifnite amount of other vids about all incarnon weapons. There is no need to make another breaking truth video about how good they . We just need some good solid info like farm % as in other videos about farming stuff and thats it.
Despite the entire video basically saying "Using the Telos Boltor is dumb and bad, use Prime" I will continue to use the Telos Boltor because I enjoy it more than the Prime and I've invested more into the Telos, back when it had a higher disposition than the Prime
