To be honest, I agree. My absolute favorite thing to do in War Thunder is making it back home after being shot to hell in a bomber. I can't tell ya how many heavies I've brought home and landed with the help of MEC.

The R2Y2s fell by the wayside when they lost their air spawns. This one still gets above most of the enemy team without too much trouble.

Which version is better in your opinion - V2 has more modern design with it's wing root intakes , but it seems like V3 is still better, or is the difference almost insignificant ?

DEFYN I hear you, I’m not saying your shots were bad. I just meant that zooming in on a maneuvering target can be tough due to the fov being limited, I don’t have the skills to make those shots.

I feel you, I zoom in on those a lot too and they dissapear from my screen. Well even if you can predict where they will be, it's kind of a useless skill to have. Just looking at them normally is a lot more efficient lel

The tracers actually have less explosive than the non-tracer HEF shells, so technically those are better. Actually, now I forget if that was the case with just the type 99 20mms or with thse too.

For the 30mms it's not the case, the tracer belt is more than 200m/s faster also. So even if they did less damage I would still say it's better

i would go with the R2Y2, mainly cause if u play the F86 u will get 9.7 battles (at least i do, 95% of times), and with it stock, well, basically it's just a RP offering to the other team's players!
