They need to make the horns louder. Us drivers can barely hear them especially with the radio talking and music going, plus the cabs are pretty soundproof
Superb machine, operator and camera angles, I was very lucky to have been given a tour of the site a good number of years ago and even a play on an R954 and see the frag machine on full pelt.
How does the sennebogen stack up against liebherr...? Any chance being permitted to come over and drive it for a couple of days..unpaid purely for my pleasure ? Always wanted to play in a dock slinger, biggest I've operated is a liebherr lh50. Been consistently working with liebherr for 6 years, odd exception using a Fuchs or catapillar now and then but nothing compares to liebherr it's in a different class.
Thats my old 954 in the video ,the 870e is faster in every way ,more comfortable too and has a much better view and seating position, once the tide comes in the edge of the cargo hold on the ship will be eye level for the 954 operator so he would be loading or unloading blind until the job is finished, no issues like that in the 870e as you can see 👍
