Hello, we don't know how to activate the original hold assist because you always have to activate it each time you start it, I already have Carista and I have a Corolla Cross 2024 (Europe) I live in Belgium
Is there a way to lock the doors while you are exited the vehicle and while the vehicle is running. I want to leave it running because of my dog . But I don’t want it stolen.
Turn on the vehicle, exit, Lower your window, close the door, stick your hand with the keyfob through the window, lock the door, raise the window, remove your arm hand with the keyfob before the window closes, when opening the vehicle you now need to remove the hidden key in the fob and mechanically open it, this works with all toyotas
After you make your changes do you have to leave the obd device connected in the port of your car? Or can you just remove it? Meaning does it always have to be in the obd insert?
I know this is an older video, but I just purchased this for a 2024 Tundra Limited. However, I got Carista prior to the Tundra and connected to my Audit Q7. When I got the Tundra two weeks ago, the app won't let me connect to a second vehicle event though the Carista website said my subscription could be used for multiple vehicles. Anyone know how to use this two vehicles? Thanks.
Got a question. Under the heating and a/c function, does it give the option to leave the a/c compressor on after you “cycle the ignition”? Get annoying having to keep pressing the button to turn the a/c back on.
YEAH YOU DO. I have a 2023 Tundra that I took to the dealer because I could not use the fob to remote start the truck after the trial subscription expired. I tried using all variations of press lock, lock and lock and hold and nothing worked. 2021 Highlander remote start works fine with pressing lock, lock lock and hold@@DIYReid
@@letstravelsandadventures8326 You can start the car without a subscription. Press the lock button twice and then hold it down a third time until the lights flashes and 5 seconds later it should start. It's a little finicky to get used to, but 100% don't need any of the subscriptions for that to work.
Thanks for the video! I have 3 questions as far as the features it offers if you have time to go back in and check. Does it offer parking brake service mode so someone can replace the rear brake pads? Can you calibrate the speedometer if someone were to put bigger tires on the vehicle? Are you able to enable the All windows down feature with a long press of the unlock button on the remote. Thanks again. Your video was much appreciated.
No, since the parking brake is electronically activated on the tundra when it comes time to replace the rear brake pads the rear calipers need to be put into service mode. I was wondering is there is a way to do it with carista. You are able to do this manually with the parking brake switch but it doesn’t always work the first time. You have to follow an exact sequence.
