This Update has been a ton of fun to play so far. I apologize for not tuning into the stream since I had a very busy day today. The Open Zone Challenges definitely lived up to what I wanted and it probably exceeded what I even could've expected to see. This Update single-handedly made the game a lot more replayable, and that's fantastic because that was one of the biggest issues I had with the game. The Birthday attire and aesthetics are very cool, and I'd like to see another set of platform aesthetics in Update 3, but I don't know what they'd add. I'm glad Kishimoto-San is responding to fans on Twitter and taking their feedback seriously to make the best Sonic game ever. I have no doubt that the next Open Zone title will be a really great game that'll appeal to many. Also, adding in all of the previous Mvt. tracks (ex: Ares Island: 6th Mvt.) into the Juke Box, so you can listen to them even after beating the game is great. Sonic Team is really out doing themselves and setting up a bright future for our beloved blue hedgehog! :D
This update really fixes a lot of my problems with the game, now it’s far better off, and much more replayable. Honestly I’m probably going to do a New Game+ in a bit just because it sounds fun. And while I don’t have the Spin Dash quite yet, it won’t be long until I do. All I know is I’m going to have a lot of fun with the game from now on. And this update is especially amazing for console players, now we can roll, Spin Dash, have momentum, and a fixed Boost Jump, now we aren’t being slowed almost to a crawl simply for jumping anymore. And it seems like the game is running a little bit better on Switch too, if even only a little bit. All of these quality of life fixes and new improvements to the gameplay as a whole, really make this a hard content update to surpass. It blows Update 1 out of the water, it’s so good I still can’t believe it’s free. And if this is how Update 2 is, I can’t help but wonder and be excited for Update 3. I wonder if the Spin Dash will be something all of the playable characters can do, or will each character have their own special move that replaces it, like a dig for Knuckles, Hammer Flip for Amy, or a Propeller Dash for Tails. The possibilities are endless, and once all the characters are playable, Frontiers might overtake a lot of the competition for best Sonic game. There are so many new ways to customize the game, from character outfits, friend outfits, world decorations and model changes, and so much more. How is everyone feeling about this update? And what are you excited about coming in the next update? How would you feel if we got a second round of paid DLC after the 3rd update? And what character are you looking forward to playing as the most? For me it has to be either Tails or Knuckles for traversal and combat reasons.
Hey fellow Sonic Fan here : ) my Son and I am trying to figure out how to do a Game + and how to carry over the stats, did you figure out how to do it and can you give us a walkthrough? Would be highly appreciated, my 8 year old is for sure one of the biggest sonic fans :) thank you
@@justheretolistentothemusicYou need to defeat Supreme and The End again in order to start a New Game +, your save file should have a little badge that indicates that you’ve completed the game. Currently the game acts as though you haven’t beaten it yet, so everyone who downloaded the update has to defeat the final bosses in order to start New Game +.
This update was nothing short of incredible. I have so many more things to do in game and getting spindash....man it was something. To me, Frontiers was always an S tier game but low S tier. Now...... oh its in my top 3! And also did you guys see that they just leaked Amy's Tails' and Knuckles' movesets and animations for update 3? I AM SO HYPED FOR THAT!

We did it guys! Next we have to push them to add a small tweak to the spindash, bejng able to uncurl without losing momentum and straight into a boost. That would change the game Unless that's already possible, i havent played the 2nd update yet But if it isnt, twitter should do it's thing. We're finally seeing that our feedback is being taken into consideration
Important information, in order to start a New Game Plus, you need to re-fight and defeat Supreme and The End, once you do that your save file will gain a badge which indicates that you’ve beaten the game. Currently if you downloaded the update, the game will act as though you haven’t beaten it yet. So currently everyone who downloaded the update has been sent back to right before the final boss, go defeat them and then you can start a New Game Plus. Also you need to turn in the New Koco to the Elder at each island, you can’t turn them in to Elders at different islands since it only reads the ones from the island you’re on.
This update is amazing. The spindash is amazing. The open zone challenges I really enjoy. I’m really hype to see update 3. Now sonic frothiers is replayble. I really don’t like how you have to unlock the spindash. Sonic team is doing a great job of the future of sonic the hedgehog. I think you should have to be having to unlock the spindash. I think that update needed a little more open zone challenges. Update 2 definitely has great challenges for use to do In the game. When play sonic frothiers you will have something to do In the game. Update 2 is a 10/10. I cannot wait for update 3 to come out.chaos inland challenges I really enjoy. Kroos inland challenges I really enjoy. Arena inland challenges are amazing. Ouranos inland is amazing.
You should make a channel called “Classic Sonic Hub” and in that RU-vid you should make videos about only classic sonic games like, sonic 1 sonic 2 sonic 3, sonic generations classic sonic levels, sonic mania, sonic origins plus, and superstars when it comes out
0:15 what does infinite like Sonic Adventure mean? I'm testing it out and I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. In SA1, you press a button to charge a spin dash, you release the button, you launch forward, hold the control stick forward, you go forward. Eventually, you will unroll, and Sonic will be running. You can however, while spin dashing and still in ball form, press the spin dash button, and essentially "continuously" boost your spin dash. Which was great. I was expecting the spindash to work the same in Frontiers based on your comment. Can you advise because I can't figure out how to "continuously boost" the spin dash, whilst dashing. It seems like I just hold the spindash button and he says in spin dash form forever. Almost like they just made it the same as boosting but changed the model. Like when he spin dashes, he never unrolls out of the ball form. Which is weird... Happy to see Sonic doing his signature move in 3D again finally but, it just seems like boosting.
@@SonicHubYT true, given that you needed to unlock spin dash in order to review it I suppose speed was the name of the game. This video definitely hyped me up to play frontiers after work and hopefully unlocking it though! I was honestly dreading chaos island, but you made it seem fun so now I can’t wait!
I love this update, but when I was playing trying to figure it out the Spindash, I was so pissed to see that I have to do the ACTION STAGES AND NOT THE KOCO!!! The game has improved, but why don't tell us how to earn it bro?
So you need an S Rank to unlock Spin Dash? yeah no. I feel the challenges would have been nice as an optional extra but having to earn an S in every single challenge to unlock what is essentially a useless skill is baffling tbh. Oh well I'll just stick to mods and if they don't work anymore I'll just play something else. Regardless thanks for this you were excellent playing here.
Hi, my Son is 8 and a huge Sonic Fan - S rank all the way and is loving Frontiers! But we can not figure out how to do a Game+ and how to carry the stats over, we do not want to change anything as we do not want to loose all his S ranks, can someone walk us through how to carry the stats over to Game= and how to start a Game+. ? Thank you... gotta go Fast :)

Can somebody please tell what im missing. I unlocked the Spin Dash and maxed out my boost meter but I cant use the spin dash in arcade mode. What am i missing? Do i have to straight up 100% everything or do i gotta beat the final boss again. Im super lost.
