I have no words to describe how grateful I am for this update. We got lots of much-needed things added, and it gave the Open Zone a better feel and more replayability. Frontiers might be an S-tier game for me once all of the updates come out because they're really out doing themselves here. It feels like an experimentation to get ready for the next Open Zone title, and it was probably the best one we could've hoped for. :)
@@benpretend_I mainly hate how sonic controls in cyberspace because how slow and broken he feels to control, along with the fact that there is no drifting or actual boosting so sometimes it's hard to stay on the path or to make it past enemies because the boost doesn't do damage and using the homing attack just kills all your speed and wastes time
I have some ideas for character interactions. This interaction takes place in the Sol Dimension. Eggman has invaded the place for the Soul Emeralds and Knuckles found Blaze in the ground mortally wounded. Knuckles: “Blaze! Please tell me you’re not dead!” Blaze: “Vix…Ai…Sol…Kokoro.” (Translation: Protect….The…Sol…Emeralds.”) Knuckles: “Aw crud. I’ve been looking for you for hours and you’re so broken you can’t even talk right!” Blaze: “I was speaking my native language, Knuckles. Don’t you know anything about me at all?” Knuckles: Well, you’re from the future. Right?” Blaze: “Eh, more like another dimension.” Knuckles: “Aw Dangit! I liked it better when you’re where from the future.” Blaze: “And I liked it better when we had a consistent canon. Nobody’s perfect.”
I really like the new platforming sections they put in for the large koco. Some of my favorite parts of the game are the focused platforming gauntlets, and now there’s tons of them!
While I’ve always loved frontiers to me it always felt a bit empty especially after you complete the game since the only thing you could really do was S rank all the cyberspace levels Max Sonic’s stats if they weren’t already and do all the side conversations with the other characters update 1 definitely helped make it feel less empty with the music Notes and side modes however this Second update has really helped frontiers with it’s replayability simply by filling up the empty space with more platforming sections which are unique from each other and actually have their own reason for why you would want to complete them instead of just being another platform section for The games basic Collectibles it may have its issues like The boost upgrades being a bit redundant in the open zone since you can just do the infinite boost trick however in total this update has made me appreciate the game even more and it makes me even more excited for what update 3 will bring since these updates always have the habit of hiding something from us until it’s announced/comes out Oh and that sweet momentum and Spin dash funny how Sonic’s most iconic ability can’t be used unless you collect a ton of yellow balls
@@benpretend_ 100% agree The formula for this game is easily one of my favourites and in a sequel with higher budget could easily become my favourite let’s hope for A successful ride for the blue blur in the upcoming years🎉
I expected nothing much this update given last update's general mediocrity, but like this isn't even an update. This is a game-changer! From new traversal and gameplay enhancements to all new challenges and collectibles, Update 2 has blown it out of the Starfall Islands!
Only thing we are missing gameplay wise for sonic now is better homing attack chains on enemies and the parry should have timing as a setting you can toggle

@@benpretend_im glad that playing different versions of the island themes is a thing, cuz kronos movement 6 is my favorite one for kronos and now I can play it whenever, and ouranos is already my favorite island theme so its nice to have it available
Tip one always go to boss fights before their spouse fights out if all the sports fights like the Caterpillar don't even go to them never go to them I if she the yellow bowls it obviously collects them off just collect them or obviously while now correct your booths I'll correct your booths and always boost as well if you Ve trying to find things because it will give you points Yeah praise of boring talk and always get your stats to the Max cigarettes though because you want to kill things real quick sly thumb cake a zombie cake I'm down real quick upgrade all your stats attack a defence at speed it's a speed and stuff owe its walkline speed wire OK And if you somebody's in wanna choose it somewhere I don't think you could cheese it thank you could cheese if probably the closest and Cronos island despite wcanada didn't remember yeah sir go the xbox controller wolf ola wolf you're just going to the xbox controller Just news of the controller and what do the spinny spinny then you'll have those glowie Springs if you wanna do that for some reason
