I have an 18 T/A Challenger. Friend has a 392 Charger with the tuner and although there is a difference...I personally don't think it's worth basically voiding a large part if not all of your warranty. You break or replace that PCM..."You bought it". Just something to consider when attempting to gain 1/2 second in the quarter mile.
Might appear snappier but you know...a Dyno before and after will validate for sure if any performance gains had been made. Snappier throttle response can be achieved by simply changing the accelerator pedal values to give the appearance of more power.
This makes me appreciate how easy it was to tune my speed3 with the cobb accessport lol. Took all of 3 minutes plug and play. I remember doing this same type of thing with the civic si doing an ECU swap, it was such a pain.

Great video! Would love to see dyno info and track sessions. I had Nitto 55 `s on my 16 sp shaker and loved them. Will add them to my 19 Charger sp when it comes out of winter storage. Great job, thanks.
Thanks for this. I bought a T2 second hand and was looking for instructions for my 2020 SRT. I didn't have the bypass cable so I was getting pretty frustrated. Now that has been ordered hopefully I can get it done this weekend.
Got one then logged a few pulls and some normal driving. Sent my log file off to Tapped Performance in Texas. I'm just gonna say, if you guys are running canned tunes and liking them, then you will love a custom tune!!! Get ahold of the owner Rick Tapp, the guy is a Mopar guru! He owns a scat challenger and does a lot of work on hellcats/fuel delivery/engine builds and of course tuning. He has a full fledged shop dedicated towards getting all the available ponies out of our cars.

Had a Diablo before. The only thing I ever noticed is it increased the throttle response so it felt like the car was faster. But in reality it really wasn't. Dyno tuning is what's needed on these cars. But even then your not gaining that much over stock. Maybe 15hp to 20hp and Torque max. Expensive for a tiny improvement.

Great video and information. Good man for using Amsoil. I run it in both the Ram and my SRT392 Challenger. Been using Amsoil since 1998, great oil and filters. I also want to tune my Challenger and Ram.

Does the security bypass allow you to run the diablosport + a tazer if you wanted. Looking to get the tazer rn but diablo down the line so wondering if I’d even be able to run both at the same time

Another way to get more power out the 392 or any other hemi without adding power is to reduce weight. Believe it or not, the most amount of weight around the car is at the wheels and drivetrain. And if you dramatically reduce the weight there, you will improve handling and yhere will be way less sprung-in weight and weight rolling resistance. Carbon ceramic brake disks, lightweight aluminum wheels, aluminum 1 piece lightweight driveshaft, and youve saved about 200+ lbs from doing that. And if you want to go further, gut the interior and youve saved another 100+ lbs. Thats 300+ lbs total lost without adding on power. If that wasnt enough, you can add on power with long tube headers with x pipe and high flow cats, a sealed cai, a bigger throttle body, and the tune you have will turn the scatpack into a mini hellcat
@@robertmcgee3616 The 1320 is the mini demon. They have the demon suspension, axles, and transbrake. They've done 11.4 with no footbrake or transbrake being used.
Just tuned my Dodge Charger. Not sure what happened but here what I’ve noticed so far Reverse camera not working. No drive modes anymore. Passenger side seat heat and cooled controls not on the screen anymore. Transmission feels slower. Paddle shifts do not seem to be as responsive compared to stock. But I don’t know what drive mode I am in.

Not to be a dick, just informative..they don't make an "srt" trim for the 2019..2018 was the last year to get one (I did). All that's available is the scat, Daytona,...the only "srt" trim is the hellcat, so if you don't have the supercharger under the hood after the 2018's, it's not an "srt" anymore..

Thanks for the video. I followed it step by step and got the installation done easily. Only thing I debate with is that I did the diablo tune and transmission tune, and literally do not feel a difference at all. I got ahold of Jay Greene so ill get a custom tune next week. But damn, I was really hoping the canned 93 tune would make a difference.

Don’t waste time and money on an exhaust no gain. Replace the mid mufflers with dynomax minis and on your active exhaust leave motor plugged in while you remove it and remove spring then wire tie the flap open then reinstall motor. No codes. Then it will be louder at idle. Even in track mode the exhaust flaps are partially closed
So how long has your Scatpack Charger been on the Diablo Trinity Tune now and what are your thoughts? What are the realistic gains in horsepower and ET’s?

I have a 1320 and it is already tuned for the drag strip. I want to see someone show me improved track times before I mess with this. Obviously if I had headers, larger throttle body, and cold air I would have to tune. I just have the HellCat air box and replaced the mids with Dyna Max racing bullets.
@@BEASTProjects Thanks. will be watching for video. 1 question. does the diablo have a "canned" e85 tune. E85 makes a very noticable power improvement in my 2011 Crown Vic not born a police car. Im sure you know pump E85 can be 104 to 110 octane if its 85 percent. I tempted to fill my 18 Daytona 392 with 50/50 93 octane and e85 and see what happens.

I am buying a 2016 dodge challenger srt it had It's a Mopar authorized supercharged kit in it (Magnuson tvs2300) Dealership installed for the previous owner It also comes with the diablo t1000 tuner. I belive it has a unlocked pcm chip they had build it in as well like how u did in your video. I have no knowledge like you to understand how to tune the car. How often do I need to tune the car? Can I just drive it without using the diablo tunner? Will it break down on me if I don't tune it right. I mean the dealer installed the supercharge kit so they must have tuned this when they done the installation? Really appreciate, thanks
Once the tunes are loaded, you really never have to touch it, unless you need to install a tune revisions for new upgrades. Using the t1000 would be good for gauge monitoring, viewing trouble codes & clearing them.
Let me ask a question so when you put the screen on Where is gives you the horse power does it go past 500 because with my scatback I can bring it all the way up to 495 No Diablo tune yet

You have to get the jay Greene email custom tune. It’s the best. You really can tell a big big difference with his tune. Trust me.. Jay Green is three times better than the Diablo tune. You will use the Diablo unit to download Jay Green
Did your Uconnect screen show like a different font on the icons after the tune? Mine did and I’m wondering how to put it back to the font it was before
