Nice work. I just purchased a Kaabo Mantis 10 Solo Plus here in Oz & removed the limiter using the code 1500 Below is the list of P codes from the user manual. PA could come in handy if you decide to sell your scooter. Note that the P codes vary for the Mantis Pro. For example P8 is for adjusting the speed limit & not P9 as below: P0 - Tire diameter (8 for mantis 8, 10 for mantis 10). Do not change. P1 - System voltage. Default 315/425/5 30 . correspond 36V/48V/60V .Do not change. P2 - Motor magnetic pole setting. Default is 30. Do not change.(Mantis 10) Motor magnetic pole setting. Default is 20. Do not chanqe.(Mantis 8) P3 - Speed signal selection. Default is 0. Do not change. P4 - Distance/ speed unit. 0=km, l=miles P5 - Start setting. l=non-zero start (Kick-and-Go), accelerator won't work if scooter is not in motion; O =immediate start (CAUTION while using this) P6 - Cruise control. 0=cruise control OFF, l=cruise control ON. P7 - Initial acceleration. 0=soft, l=strong. P8 - Electric (regenerative) braking (E-ABS). 0=E-ABS off, l=E-ABS on P9 - Speed limit as% of top speed, i.e. lO0=no speed limit. PA - Clear total distance travelled (ODO). PB - Scooter auto-turn off time in minutes. PC - Display brightness (l=low, 2=medium, 3=hiqh)
Purchased a Kaabo Mantis Elite a week ago. Out of the box had a top speed of 19 kmph. I’ve now got it doing 30 which is currently fast enough. Is capable of doing 65 kmph, but I wouldn’t do that speed without wearing full motorbike gear.
@@MyJohney I adjusted the power setting which out of the box was set at 27%. The Mantis Elite and Mantis Pro have a different controller to that shown in this video. The instruction manual says how to alter your P settings. You should read your instruction manual before making any changes as some P settings are not to be changed as this can cause damage to your scooter.
Looking for reviews on the Kaboo Skywalket 10H (thinking of getting one) and a fellow aussie video pops up demoing the "root" password for unlocking the speed. Thanks mate LOL!
Good video :). I'd like to see a test at 90 and one at 60, to see the speed difference. Whole point of this is being able to swap this on the go, incase of coppers.
Thanks mate, I’ve got a seal up q18 with the same display and when I received it it goes up to 60kph I don’t know if it can go any faster but I might give your method a go and see what happens
Good evening mate… just saw your vid… great info. I have another question for you… my WwX now fully charged has dropped the speed to half even if it’s fully charged and I have the settings at 100. Would you have an idea why it’s like that now. No drops, no water exposure everything works … but it’s just slower…
This is my first scooter and probably the best toy I've had in my 38 years of life ; ) ru-vid.comUgkxvyNuxpWiHTNypxG6nyqyf7ywc7Q16PDM The assembly was easy - Took me 10-12 mins to get it set up and enjoy a quick ride before putting it on the charger for the full charge.I love the push-off feature vs. some of the other scooters that start with direct acceleration. I believe this allows a bit more of a stable start with a jerk reaction. I also like the throttle/acceleration feature that its a slow increase in speed vs. what you would get in a motorcycle. I've taken advantage of the anti-theft system when taking the scooter out to the beach and city. I like the anti-theft system as well as the need to enter a code after you turn it on before you can operate. The powerful front lights are helpful for a night ride. You can see in the picture how powerful the light is as a reflection on the garage. I'm impressed with the lightweight and how easy it was for me to get it set up and going. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for a scooter.
You said this works for any kaabo with the same display. I was thinking of purchasing the Kaabo Mantis 10 Plus, but it’s limited severely in my area. Anyone know if the password is the same for all models of the Kaabo? Thanks!
same in the UK burt we ride anyway and we will never stop cops steal them but we carry on they have choice but to make em legal if kept illegal ell no one cares for the stupid rule anyway they say we can ride in out homes and that is all or are garden hahahahaa they make me laugh and the country
@@tinotolentino1873 No I have not, also there's no way to turn on regenerative braking either. It looks like if you were to get a different speed controller you might have more options
good day i have a problem with my scooter ,,it turn off automatically during a ride i try to call the dealer but still no reply can you please help me.
I looked at this exact scooter yesterday for my daughters who are 7 and 10. Do you think it is suitable? or too fast? Do you know if this has an app? Cheers
Password 3745 worked for me the problem is that when I enter the P9 it shows me that’s it’s on 55 but it won’t let me change it up or down it’s stuck on 55 and when I press the power or mode button it won’t change the number, on all the other Psettings it works and changes but on P9 it won’t, anyone knows why and what can I do?
I have a Mantis Elite, P8 adjusts the speed. The number is a percentage of the maximum speed, out of the box setting was at 27, which gave me top speed of 19 kmph. My Elite is capable of doing 65, I currently have it doing 30 kmph.
Hi mate, thanks for this info! Where did you find out the password? Only that I've just got a Kaabo mantis plus lite and we were wondering how to get on to that p-settings! Is the password 9221 for me aswell? Do you reckon?
Mate don't call our bloody state nanny the rules are their to lessen fatalities.. keep drivers on the road more safe and scooter riders and honestly they shouldn't be allowed to ride on road they don't even pay rego mate !!!
