thanks Dan, I did that. I created the pendrive simply@clever. after the sdinfo command, I enter the "clear password" command. I remove and reinsert the sd, with sdinfo it is unlocked but I cannot access the information on the sd. how can I do?

If sdinfo displays "Unlocked" then you should have access to the files on the sd card. Very strange. For me it works every time. Have you tried inserting the "Unlocked" sd card into a windows computer?

Hi Dan! I've started my laptop using the SImply Clever ubuntu from the link provided, however when I run the command c nothing changes,it's still locked I get the same info as you did apart from cmd42 response: 0x00000000 any idea?

Hello, thanks. With your help now i can read cid from my rns315 card. i by this card (west europe v12), but dont work because my radio is us version, do you now if is possible put the card working?

Only samsung cards produced before mid-2016 can be used to rewrite the CID. For VW RNS 315 you can use any card but you need a password calculated for the CID of that card.

Not every laptop can unlock cards. @@brody0875 I have a Dell XPS L1702X but the sc-05a.uefiboot.ubuntu16.04 not working on it... I copied the download to a 4GB USB but it do nothing... any idea?

@@Lanselot1978 "Simply @ Clever no longer supports the outdated legacy BIOS mode, the boot process that is based on the boot sector and master boot record. It only starts on 64-bit computers that have the new UEFI". @@brody0875 I have done the usb now... all Simply@Clever working on the L702x. The CID is different on your video then in the Megadownload... Is that for the v12 west?
