Well, I can't speak on your situation, but here, the baby mama wouldn't have been able to "make his life miserable" if he wasn't being a two-faced cheater in the first place. He was the cause of his own misery. He was the one stirring the pot by lying and telling different women different things. Here, the baby mama was aware enough to see that, perhaps because she's known him for almost a decade and has multiple kids with him. The gf has only known him 4 short months and fell for his BS. Also, couple that with the fact that the gf is only 23--a young, gullible age.
