wait maybe I wasn't paying attention but in the aluren match (1:16:20) couldn't you have used aluren to cast snap for free and cast shoeldred's edict in response the the zombie trying to return to hand?

I played some leagues with this & even cooked up a version ft. ancestral visions & profane tutor to go in on 4x jace (because the "zero" cost spells work with jace's plotting). Do you think jace's plotting could be good enough to allow for a deck like this? I liked your list because the jace plotting cards synergy is a part of the deck, but small enough that it has other avenues for winning (classic control gaming)

Just finished the league, are we at 3 jace territory? Is that insane? It seems like the entire league we just wanted to find the jace.

I was mostly saying that to showcase the card and the combo. It is pretty fortunate we even had the luxury to do all that searching with new cards on the line. I think I mentioned at one point during the league that opening a hand with even more than one Jace would be tough. And the fact that it doesn't generate card advantage until the -6 (and even then conditionally), I'm hesitant. But no doubt the card is very powerful! In any case I do want to pick up a third at some point
