Unlocking Confidence in HPV Vaccines: How Health Workers Master Communication Skills 

Healthcare professionals in Turkmenistan are leveling up! The first round of the WHO Country Office’s training series on human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine communication, launched in February 2024, has successfully concluded.
These educational seminars have equipped family doctors and immunologists from Ashgabat to Arkadag, and across all regions, with cutting-edge strategies for discussing the HPV vaccine.
The aim? To boost vaccine confidence and uptake by enhancing how healthcare workers converse with families and children about the HPV vaccine.
The WHO-EU Central Asia COVID-19 Crisis response (CACCR) Project supported adaptation of the WHO regional training materials, including Turkmen-language videos, to create an interactive course for Turkmen healthcare professionals.
