Wow jeez what an insane run as Tainted Isaac, Fart Baby, Crown of Light, Pyromaniac. Early on it was Ultra Hard, Can't believe I didn't do boss rush. Good thing mom's knife didn't show up because that wouldn't have been fun. Even though I would of liked that item. I also like , Death Certificate, Crickets Head, Rock bottom, Magic Mushroom and Godhead. I also love planetarium items. The Binding of Isaac Repentance is a pretty hard game but I enjoy it, fighting Hush Delirium Mega Satan The Beast and Mother are all fun. I love synergies and bad items. I actually enjoy the long horseman + beast fights because you get to listen to the great music and see the cool attacks you don't normally see. Deaths 3rd attack is definitely my favourite

Its kind of sad how the ultra horsemen and the beast have so many cool attacks that most people will never see because you are usually so op when you reach them they die in seconds.

Whenever I fight them I'm either so strong that I never see those attacks or I'm so weak I see them multiple times in the same fight

dogma item makes sure you have at least six hearts (unless youre keeper/lost ofc) when you enter beast arena and boosts your speed if its below a certain value (i forgot that value but i know its above 1) along with the obvious mantle and flight :) banger run btw youve inspired me to hurry up and get tainted isaac

insane run, i absolutely love these kinds of runs where you barely scrape by and still win. it's such a great test of skill and one of the many reasons why this game is still so amazing another thing, i really love how down to earth you are in your videos, and i love chilling out and watching them daily! keep up the good work!

From another dead god player, this is the first time I've seen some of ultra death and beast's other attacks as I've always beaten them/died to them (or gotten lucky) before I could come witness to them, so this was an odd experience for me to watch

18:34 I had a similar run today like that T Azazel to beast, my only dmg up was meat, I somehow managed to defeat beast with half a heart left. Playdough cookie and soul of azazel kinda carried me. With soul of azazel I was able to skip an entire horsemen ( I chose Pestilence since his attacks are the deadliest Imo ). The fight still took about 10 minutes.

Tainted isaac is still a character I have a rough time getting the hang of, but when I was unlocking the glitched crown I held onto restock and steam sale, and kept buying items until birthright showed up.

I kind of wish there was some way to make the beast actually hard (like the fight in this episode). Maybe if you get the knife pieces then do the ascent you could shatter dogma's tv with the knife. That could make a version of Dogma's fight where you skip the first phase and the second phase has more health and different attack patterns. Then the Beast could only have two horsemen (being Conquest and The Headless Horseman) and a climb phase instead of that stupid 1/3 of free health phase on the fight currently. I say all of this because the most fun I have had on the beast fight is when I did a run with Samson where I picked up no items, and it's just sad that is what I need to do to make the fight fun lol. Also, making him harder this way would also mean that you don't need to add extra unlocks because it is still the Beast (I would want the harder fight to be completely optional like Daytime EoL from Terraria).

Try bomb tainted hopper next time, since they only have a high armor but low hp. A single bomb should be enough to one shot them.

I try to stay away from holding r, just because it sorta ruins the whole random generation thing. (Example: I could hold r until I get tech x for all of my runs.)

The game is very difficult, especially when you don't have any good items unlocked. Isaac is a game where strong starts tend to snowball, letting you keep more health, devil chance, and make Boss Rush/Hush. It's essential to not lose the basement 2 devil deal, even if you go angel. If you have trouble with the fight, for Isaac circle-strafe and try to keep your distance for first phase. Some of the patterns have very limited range, so stay away and dodge the pretty easy patterns that go outwards. Same thing for second phase, it just gets more chaotic. For the wall of Crack the Sky beams, hide in a corner, instead of trying to predict the path of the beams and going between. If you still struggle, watch a video of someone killing Isaac/Satan, and specifically try to recognize the patterns.
