Interested in strengthening your organization's capacity to attract well-trained public health students, engage in practice-oriented research, and strengthen community partnerships? This session explored more about academic health department (AHD) partnerships - formal partnerships between health departments and academic institutions - and included success stories of partnerships in action from the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department (OH) and Massachusetts Department of Public Health. It also explored the many benefits these collaborations offer and practical resources and tools to help you build and expand your own partnerships.
