The guy with the bountiful boozums is a mint which has a certain effect when you plant it which can range from just okay to putting a spikerock in every lane. After that they boost a certain type of plant for a few seconds, that one boosts peashooters

Matt! The shapes on the ground are OP! If you put plants on them, and you use plant food on a plant that is on a shape, then the other plants on the same shape will act like they also got plant food!
Tip for you mattshea : when you unlock a plant called "Infi-Nut" it can block zombie projectiles with its plantfood ability and its very useful in big wave beach
Tips for matt: Mints aka the thing at 13:30 can also boost any Appease-mint Family plants on the lawn by increasing the effectiveness of their properties, such as damage, what you got was an Appease-mint, it boosts attacks of Bowling Bulb, Dandelion, Pea Pod, Pea Vine, Peashooter, Primal Peashooter, Red Stinger, Repeater, Rotobaga, Split Pea, Starfruit, Threepeater, Torchwood, Tumbleweed, Mega Gatling Pea. And in ITF (the one with robots) if you plant food the plants on the special panel. the plants on the same panel will get plant food too
Tip for @mattshea: Matt you can use escape root as an immortal plant by dragging it and hold it there until the escape root starts to turn into an explosive plant then you let it go and thus the escape root will be immortal
Here is a tip Matt: what the triangle and square tiles do are; if there is 2 different tiles with plants on both tiles and you give plant food to one of the plants, the other plant gets some plant food diverted to it, too.

Matt IMPORTANT NOTE: If you use plant food on a plant and its standing on a shape tile the other plant standing on the same tile will also use its plant food ability because its on the same shape tile, so you can only use 1 plant food on a tile. EDIT: PLS LIKE SO MATT CAN SEE THIS!
A little thing about mega gatling pea's design is that the original pvz 1 design always had the mini gun out, but the new pvz2 design only brings it out when he shoots or does plant food.
I liked pvz1’s design better in that aspect because of how he looks heavy duty. Pvz2 did improve upon that aspect with the leaves in the back and the marks on the helmet plus makes the pea plant food sound effect when firing.
12:31 the little pea thing is one of the many power mints. When placed down, power mints will boost the time of plant that it is. There are many power mints and there premium plants.
Matt this is a bit unrelated,but i think its better if you buy or try to get the op plants when you're finishing adventure, like when you're finishing modern day, cuz it turns into less of an authentic playthrough, and less of a challenge, but hey thats only my opinion.
In the far future, when you use plant food on a plant with a power tile, it activates the plant food for the plants on the same type of power tiles. Dinosaurs are not affected by the plants. They aid the zombies and can only turn on the zombies if you use a perfume shroom on them. That mint that costs 0 sun boosts pea shooting plants
Tip For Mattshea:You Really Have to unlock The Citron At Far Future Because it does Over 1000 Damage. But To Get It You Have To Face Through Super Deadly Robot Zombies. The Gargantuar in That World (Gargantuar Prime) Can Shoot Lasers at your sunflowers. That's the tip!
Tip For MattShea and Others: Catapult Plants can attack over the graves and attack the zombies instantly. meanwhile things like peashooters have to deal with Graves acting like barriers.
Tip: when a plant on a symbol tile (x or square) gets plant food it triggers the plant food effects of the plants on the same symbol tiles so x on x, square on square, etc.

Hey Matt, if you want some challenging levels then you should do the hard Jurassic Marsh level event. It's going away pretty soon. Also, the endless zones are THE hardest things in the game. They start off slow but the difficulty ramps up super quick, so it would be fun to continue those.

Useful tip: you can get plants like the mega gatling pea for free in the arena mode (if you grind for it cuz you only have 5 days... and you had 24 days to get it) and another modo that will be unlocked in the wild west wich you can play it to unlock seed packet/seedium plants that were available in Arena someday, like the rhubarbbarian. Also...I don't know how i could say this. but for some reason, i get a small 'bad feeling' (probably a "it hurts my heart" feeling) when you buy a seedium plant when you could have gotten it for free. But don't worry, i already know about the "wallet destroying" and i will say that you've made a very good choice of buying mega gatling pea because it'll be very useful in the arena (together with torchwood) and i actually think that this is the best plant of 2022 (this might change if the next new plants are better than this one)

Plants on the squares and xs will share plantfood example peashooter on red square gets plantfood, other peashooter on different red square also gets the plantfood power. this works with as many pads that are in the map.
@@SalamRestaurant-mo1izactually it’s not close to being the best plant because other ones like jalapeño instant kill basically everything and pepper-mint sets the whole map in fire while boosting fire plants and there is just so much better stuff other then that like spike rock +endurian + aloe (aloe at the back, endurian in the middle, spike rock at the front.)
pinata parties are challenging but not overly difficult bonus levels, when beaten you get rewards that are usually not worth it but at least its something lol also plant food the cabbage makes it hit all zombies, graves and cannons, which is the trick behind the one you played

i do have a tip when your losing at pinata party make sure you can use power ups choose the electric lighting because lawn mower at the half is the border before you will lose
10:48 The weird tiles in the future with geometric shapes make it so that when you plant food a plant on one of those tiles all of the same tiles across the board will also have their plants plant fooded. so for example if you had three sunflowers on the red tiles if you plant food one sunflower on the red tile all of the sunflowers on the red tiles would get plant fooded
TIp: the best gem plant is the lava guava, because it has a lot of uses. It can save you from a giant zombie, or kill the dynamite zombie(in the wild west map) so, it would be a good idea to include lava guava somewere Edit: I also wnat to see the mattle cats series ... you know, that thing you said when having your account suspended? Matt did you know that the little refresh button under the plant seeds copies the load out you used last? Its a useful feature that cab save time! Also i think a big bad butt(e) live stream would be cool!
matt heres a tip if get a mint plants like the peashooter mint it will boost all peashooter plants theres even a shadow mint ice mint theres a lot so my last tip is if you plant food torchwood then it will glow blue fire and the peashooter is 2x damage when it fire on it so hope this help matt and have a great day
In inventon mode once you beat Dr. Zombo‘s in this level it’s really hard to take him down And in frostbite caves you can’t use any freezing plants every freezing plant like snow pea or iceberg lettuce doesn’t work on ice caves
Matt! the pinata party is rigged. you cant get the grand prize for the ones for day 1-4. And the pea vine basically gives a damage boost to a plant on top of it. and if one of them is plantfooded, they will both plantfood. And the plant you saw on the jurassic premium plant quest is the primal peashooter, it can move zombies back! (not the mint one the peashooter one) Also the dinosaurs there can give the zombies a boost, but a plant you can obtain in the jurassic marsh can counter this by making them turn on the zombies.
Matt i recommend using abilities when your in tough levels or a zombie is close to your house like in the event when a pirate flew from a cannon and you had to retry while you could've used an ability! 😀
Matt, the rectangles and x's in the ground are interesting. If you place a plant on one of the rectangles or x's, and another on the other one and plant food one of them, both of them gets plant fooded but only if both plants are on the same shape.
Tip: you dont need normal sunflowers now Matt you NEED twin sunflowers because it gives 100 sun cuz theres 2 of them sure it cost 125 but its worth getting
defenitely use plant food on Torchwood instead of Mega Gatling, i also recommend to purchase Pea Vine as it boosts the power of peashooters that it is planted on, and can kill a Gargantuar in two shots if planted on a Torchwood.
Review for Mega Gatling Pea: 1. Mega Gatling Pea has a chance of "Plant-fooding" himself. 2. After getting Mega Gatling Pea "Plant-fooded", he shoots a burst of 5 instead of 4
I just unlocked mega gatling pea, I sweated my ass off last night in arena mode and exploited the boss tournament and threw gems to get more gauntlets. It was all worth it in the end.
Just so you know, matt, the coloured tiles you found mean that if a plant on the tile is plantfooded, the plants on the other tiles of the same colour are activated

The square and X tiles make it so that if you use a plant food on one it will use plant food on the others automatically there is also a circle variation btw they have to be the same tile
Matt on the robot island the squares that are red or green or other colors, when you place a plant on two of the same square on the marks and plant food one of them the plant on the other square also plant foods. Hope that made sense because I'm not so good and explaining things
