Melusine has played out really well over the years. She's one of those investments that you're sure will have staying power, as only recently have we had new unit releases that rival her damage capacity or exceed it. Still with regards to the lancers especially she manages to reign supreme. A lot of her kit is similar to lancelot saber's in some way, but in most cases she has stronger skills by comparison. Okay, if Melusine doesn´t need Mana Loading and she doesn´t really need Apendix Skill 3, I can assume, that even Appendix Skill 1 isn´t needed, because she would nuke everything with her NP already and does this mean, she would be a Top candidate for the "lvl 120 project", because we can spare the coins?

Only planning to roll for NP1 on her initial banner next week. Have to maintain enough to pity for Koyan and Oberon if necessary and can roll for more copies after that on her rerun banner, same for Morgan.

All of my SQ has been prepared for this moment. The second I saw Melusine I knew I wanted her. Over a year of saving, 1000SQ and tickets. I am ready.

As soon as Arjuna Alter came out we all should have known things like Melusine would also be coming down the line. Personally I’m fine with it. People thought Space Ishtar and Arjuna Alter would be the be all end all and they aren’t. I remember hearing people say Tiamat can out punch Melusine. Which is weird.

Agreed, the lore argument is stupid. There are many servants that should be waaay stronger than they currently are based on lore. That being said I'm really looking forward to her, not sure how many copies I'm gonna roll tho since I have a fully maxed spishtar for farming already... so probably not higher than np2 I guess, but if the rolls go bad I'll settle for np1 cos koyan and oberon are also right around the corner

I am interested in getting her because of CHOCO. Their art for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 were amazing. I also got spoiled by the voiced scene of her with Muramasa and other person. It was cute, funny and awesome to hear.

I love how her artist CHOCO basically just brought a redesign of his original character "KOS-MOS" from Xenosaga into FGO and they made her just as ridiculously powerful as the original.

Waifu over meta... That's why even though Melusine is broken, I'll go for Oberon 😂

Lil Dragon over here is STILL the only servant in the game even on JP that has a "Double" NP type................and can switch to one of them during battle etc...

I find Melu to be a very intereting servant with a cute and appealing design; however, I want to caution people who may be wanting to summon for meta purposes: there are a plethora of f2p and/or easily accessible farming capable servants with high damage. Examples include (and are not exclusive to): Cu Caster, Habetrot, Chen Gong, Taisui, Iyo, Percival, Fionn, Valks (especially summer), among other options. Due to the plethora of farming options, I hope nobody feels as though they HAVE to summon for Melu - summon if you want, but don't force yourself.

Definitely planning to roll for her. NP1 at least, on this banner, ideally more, and I already have four grails set aside.

Great video. I'd love to add that her 2nd append is amazing when it comes to Lottos or Events. A lot of Lottos and Events give you a 50% CE. With a 50% CE you can start her off in 3rd form in the buster system and cash in on another 30% np damage which then becomes 60% np damage on wave 3. Melusine is easily still the best Lancer in the game 2 years after her release and has forever changed the game. Her NP damage dwarfs all of the other lancers even in their niches. At high investment, you can even clear 90++ nodes even with her counter class (saber) in them. She's as close to a "must roll" as a dps can get if you want to turn your brain off and just press buster np.

Shes been a target of mine even before we saw her kit, From design alone I knew it meant I would be rolling for her, her kit being as strong as it is, is of course a bonus but thats never been overly important when rolling for waifu reasons.

Definitely rolling for melusine!
