Thomas in regards to the modding when I add in the io line and the one below and then make it a read only, it gets rid of all the information in regards to the save menu as well as selecting the town army etc and even the unit information, us there anything I'm doing wrong or is it because mine is a digital down load.

It makes sense, as the Anglo-Saxons originated in the Jutland peninsula, just renaming some units (norse archers to anglian archers, for example) Btw how you mount or dismount a General Bodyguard?

Hey there, these videos are very helpful for a little personal mod i'm trying to make. There is an issue I can't resolve though. How do you unpack the kindom's dlc data folders? I'm trying to add units from crusades and teutonic over to vanilla.

Thats a very good question I asked myself years ago. Maybe you should ask this question in a reply part. I still wonder how to add the Crusade Dlc Greek fire to the vanilla for the Byzantines

Is there a way to add Anglo-Saxon names? If the answer is no, I have a whole list, you could add the names in the files (im not a modder, i do not know how it works, im just someone who wants to help) I added this comment because i detected norman-german names in your peaceful Saxon campaign

Hard to say what is wrong without seeing the file but it can be easy to forget to add both city and castle churches as they're listed separately in the file.
