@@Tasji hearing your song about how much you love someone reminds me of a girl who is very special to me...we love each other but it's just not meant to be.... I wrote a poem for her.. And I don't know why but i feel like sharing it with you....it's nowhere as good as the songs that you write so please don't judge me 🙈 Well here goes... Good Morning Soulmate As you slowly wake up, Rubbing your eyes with your hand, With rays of sunshine the room lights up, Not from the sun looking at your beauty with envy, But from the glow on your face, Shining brighter than the sun's birth land. Your eyes awash with the remnants of a dream, A dream that I ache to be in, With you now and forever more, For that's all I can hope for in this lifetime, But in the next lifetime and the one after, I swear that you and I shall find each other, Across as many stars and suns as need be, I will hold you And kiss you And we shall grow old together And pass into the next lifetime together. With these words of an everlasting promise, I wake you up from your blissful slumber. My hands close around your waist with a kiss On the soft plain of your forehead, As I wish for more than to just lie in your bed. As our eyes stare into each others' I see the oceans of my deep love reflected in yours, While you sink into the deep blue waters of my love, I come closer, lips touching each other And I softly whisper, "good morning my beautiful love" As I hold you, the reflection of my soul in my loving embrace.
