Were we watching the same show???? 🧐 France flopped big time during prelims. So did Dominican Republic. And I honestly don’t even remember Costa Rica 🤷🏻♀️ the only somewhat shocking non placements were Mexico and Brazil. I feel like they both deserved a placement but I also didn’t feel the competition was lacking without them
Mexico and India just weren't that facially beautiful. Nicaragua has a bad complexion and you can see in the close-ups, even under all that make-up. I don't think she should've won, imo
The most beautiful face in the pageant no, but she was way better than Nepal, Jamaica, Portugal, El Salvador and others who classified. I also don't think France did a good prelims. My biggest shock was DR and Brazil.
I would have to give the most beautiful face to miss Thailand & the most beautiful body to The winner Nicaragua. The top 5 should have included Costa Rica. Puertorico had a huge mouth. I don’t know maybe some people like that. And Australia should have been replaced by South Africa.
Everyone talks about performance but it really is about how the girls look. There have been many girls who didn't perform well but looked great and placed.
France had an awful evening gown. Mexico AGAIN wore a red evening gown. Brazil’s evening gown was very early 2000’s. Costa Rica - I can’t remember her performance. Dominican Republic’s dress was similar to Paraguay 2021. All their performances were lackluster.
I agree and was very shocked with Miss France and Dominican Republic not placing. Both would've been great choices to win Miss Universe and both were so much more beautiful and deserving than Nicaragua (not disrespect to Nicaragua though). I wasn't expecting Mexico or Costa Rica to place though and didn't find both that facially beautiful, so it wasn't a suprise to me. Brazil was so beautiful too and I was partial to her because she's only 19 years old and so young to take on such a big challenge competing. On an aside, I love love love the voice of the woman doing this video and she should be an announcer on tv!
El Tocuyo - I could never understand this derogatory and very insulting remark against women who are beautiful in their own right and arrived at Ms Universe already as winners. There’s only ever going to be one freaking crown unless it’s sliced into 80 small pieces! Put yourselves in their shoes and they get to read this. This is making a mockery of all their hard work! There are some under rated and over rted beauties. Yes i do agreed my pick was miss france n brazil tobe at least top 10 ..but sadly no ..but t least im.happy with the winner cos shes one of my favourites too and i think she deserves the title .😊
They should create a new pageant and call it Miss Galaxy or Miss Milky Way lol. The rules are non existent in this pageant. Anyone can enter now. They need to create a pageant that doesn’t allow contestants with cosmetic procedures, fake eyelashes and hair extensions. A true beauty contest with only god given beauty and natures truth. That would be much more interesting. Not this madness with obese and trans. The new people can keep this wack ass miss Universe pageant. Somebody with money please go create a new one for the pageant fans.

Chile I do not like politics in this, and I don' t like mixing man with women , and also inclouding xl ( I am XL), but I think they can' t compete with itch other. Because this competition is about look, and then personality , but I agree they should make "Miss universe personality", " Miss universe XL" , " Miss universe mother"... P. S. One more thing, in my oppinion " Miss universe Colombia " has mestake too, because miss Buenaventura was stunning. ❤

I am XL, AND I don' t think I am perfect just like this, I think I should work on my Self and change things what Is not right. Mexico failed because her advocacy is about voice for change, this yrs there many advocacy about voice for change like South Africa, phillipine, pourtorico, and that why she didn't make the cut, Dominican Republic did't make the cut due to Nadia 1 of the judges because she's try to Replicate her, France did't get a placement because she's not good in the preliminary at all no doubt,
France was always in my Top 5 leading up to the Preliminaries, however I feel that her performance was underwhelming so I removed her from my Top 20 List. Even though I feel Brazil’s evening gown performance was more a swimsuit performance. I think she deserved to be in the Top 20. Dominican Republic had a nice performance but I was never impressed with her so she never made my list. I think Nepal and Portugal took the spots that should have gone to Mexico and Brazil. This ALL INCLUSIVITY is a disrespect to women who work hard to achieve their accomplishments. It’s RUINING PAGEANTRY.
Did you see Miss Ecuador? the one with natural and authentic beauty, elegant, sweet and with more attributes and virtues. Her preliminary was impecable and she didn't make it to the 12. Others insignificant and ordinary candidates qualified. Ecuador is not a powerhouses and do not pay high franchises nor negociate the crowns and places as other countries do. What a shame! Not femenine candidates took the place of true beauties.
Nicaragua has an amazing aura since the first day! I agree with you about these candidates but the new miss universe is inteligente, speak 3 languags has humility and empathy. I am Brazilian and live and work with casting in USA so my coment is professional.
What they did to these ladies, leaving them out to classify horrors like that Miss Nepal, is disrespectful, to say the least. The Top 3 was amazing though, which shows their hipocrisy. They let the fat, the trans, the islamic and the mother classify, just for the media show, and in the end they crown a beautiful one. Who do they think they are fooling?
Although it's nice to have Nepal place and be inclusive to all body types but how unfair it was to all the other girls who worked out, starved and worked hard for their swimsuit bodies.
