The latest military unmanned aerial vehicle "Okhotnik" made the first joint flight with the aircraft Su-57.
As part of the ongoing test program, the Okhotnik UAV flew in an automated mode in full configuration with access to the duty zone.
During the flight, the interaction between the Okhotnik UAV and the leader aircraft for expanding the fighter’s radar field and target designation for the use of long-range aviation weapons without entering into the air defense conditional response zone was worked out.
The first joint flight lasted more than 30 minutes. Tests of the latest combat complex created by The JSC Sukhoi Compan are carried out at one of the test airfields of the Russian Defence Ministry.
"Okhotnik" is made according to the “flying wing” scheme with the use of special materials and coatings that make it practically invisible to radar detection equipment.
The UAV is equipped with target equipment for optoelectronic, radio engineering and other types of reconnaissance.
