Think my father is mix between Covert and Malignant. Yes they do drain us emotionally! They say one thing and mean another. He's definitely more covert these days!

Yes, they can be a covert narcissist without aiming to isolate you from your friends and family. In my case she insinuated herself into my relationships and used them as extra sources of supply. Easy new additions to her social galaxy.

Depends on the narcissist I’m a covert narcissist just been through a lot. But what you have to ask yourselves is how do we become narcissists you aren’t born with it. 1) My first memory as a child I was 5 my mum and dad got divorced. My earliest memory of a child is shouting my mum and dad shouting dad barging through the door pushing my mum out the way. My mum manipulated me during that divorce telling me I had to choose her over living with my dad. 2) My grandad died a year later they bought the coffin into the house. My mum wouldn’t let me go to the funeral I was shouting and screaming i want to go. 3) I grow up age of 13 I started anxiety. The doctors put it down to anxiety in some cases yes but actually turns out this week I have ADHD (Stems from child hood trauma. 4) Age of 15 I got saved I was in the middle of an anxiety attack god come into my life I was hit Holy Spirit. 5) i start listening to god following his word as a life path. 6) I always feel something isn’t right in my head don’t know what but I’m very wrapped up in me 7) I get married find an amazing woman great first 5 years unfortunately I had addiction of porn since the age of 15 as my mum didn’t offer any boundaries as a child I could do whatever I wanted she would even stay up and play computer games with me I was the golden child. Couldn’t do anything wrong. 8) unfortunately we start to treat our wives as maids not humans we talk to our selves negatively constantly but who’s feeding that information? 8.1) You have the humans of this world who look negatively at you 8.2) You have the spiritual side of demons(please don’t say this stuff don’t exist it’s 100% real. 9) We go on in marriage but I couldn’t stand the cry of a child and we block everything out as narsassists to protect ourselves as a covert narcissist we chatter in our head. Now ADHD can lead to NPD if untreated I didn’t get the help. What happened well basically our marriage had drifted none us wanted to end it and when you’re a covert narsassist you don’t know how to talk I was mute I couldn’t express my feelings everyone I wanted to say something I put it in box. We become people pleasers we please other people helping them but then we rely on money and that becomes power and control. Basically what happened after 13 years of marriageI ended up seeing a hooker I had whole hour experience chatter in my head in the car before I went god and Satan telling me what to do. I’d slipped away from god. God wanted me to go home and show me my future. I refused he said ok if you in 2 years time your nan will die and your mum will die. I said yea right you wouldn’t kill my mum (I knew my nan was dying) I got told I would have suicidal things happen and PTSD So I went instant regret couldn’t get it out my head. We didn’t even have sex she just touched me but we as narcissists hold ourselves to high standards 8 months head burning I lay on the bed said god take it away I rebuked all things to do with the occult porn literally nothing burning chitter chatter in my head gone. I was told to get my marriage back on track and go back to church. And I had got 18 -24 months before Satan would get me again this time it would be like honey on my lips and he would bring up all my past. Yea right!! As a narsassist you don’t listen you crack on I was told about march 2022 you need to come back to church. So I didn’t started going a men’s group. Anyway week before this happened I’m just stood talking to builders in our house hear this word you need to go upstairs god wants a hire word with you. He said to me I want you put 3 things Christian in your car. I said music god said you don’t listen to music any more I said a cross got moment to print a cross off forgot. Night before I wake up 3am off the sofa go to the loo really wanted my Mrs out little girl in bed so I go lay in her bed (voice satans going to tempt you tomorrow you need to put the armour of god on) remind me in the morning Morning comes you need to call your Mrs tell her you wanted her and put the armour of god on…yea right Went my clients to install a pc came out hit with demonic spirit hire hooker hire a hooker hire a hooker. It was like being grabbed by your head and pulled and you can’t do anything else it says. You can only follow it because your weak. At this point yes my mum was dying we had builders in and it only came on when any kind of major stress. So not only do we as narcissists have the human world we have the spiritual one as well. Lookup the Jezebel spirit and narcissists but it’s only been recently im able to see why we do these thing impulsively. ADHD narcissism and the spirit world. We don’t stand a chance really. You can’t tell me you just wake up at 3am think satans tempt me tomorrow unless someone is feeding this information. We suffer in silence and no body knows or cares!
Hi thanks for sharing your expeience, I guess one thing here is that you have awareness of all of this and once we have awareness then we have a choice to make, take resposnibility and steps towards change or carry on as we are denying any responsibilty for our actions. And we can choose to seek help to whether its from god, the church, the community, dr´s or therapists, coaches or gurus whatever works for us and brings us salvation and redemtption and helps us learn to treat others well as well as ourselves.
