Why do you really gamble and how can you stop?

If you are like many of the gamblers that I work with you have probably been asked a 1000 times, "why do you gamble?" and I am sure that you have tried to justify it giving all sorts of reasons.
But when you understand the real reasons why you gamble, it makes it so much easier to stop gambling especially if you combine this with the power of hypnosis.

What most people don't understand is that the reason "why" we do anything is because it fulfills a psychological need. As much as we have physical needs for air, water and food we also have psychological needs.... and these are NEEDS, not wants, or desires. We absolutely NEED them in order to function normally. When these needs are not being met in a positive way, we often meet them in a negative way.... and this includes gambling.
If you truly want to stop gambling (it's easier when combined with hypnosis) then you want to understand how you are using gambling to meet these unconscious needs, and then find better, more positive ways to meet those needs.
Once you do that it becomes so much easier to stop gambling, and when you combine this with hypnosis you can have permanent change.
Unfortunately if you just try to stop gambling by going cold turkey, without addressing these needs, typically you will fall off the wagon or you will go to something else negative like, booze, or drugs.
