About Me: Hello! My name is Erika, I am a wife and stay at home mom. I created my channel to keep busy while I learned to navigate life as a SAHM and to give myself accountability to get things done around my home. We recently moved from Arizona to Texas and downsized (2800 sq ft to 1200 sq ft). I've documented our downsizing journey from the beginning starting with decluttering and getting rid of over 50% of our belongings. I'm not an expert, I am just sharing our journey, along with my thoughts and struggles I encounter in the process. Now that we are in our new space I will be sharing with you how we get settled and organized into a much smaller home while maintaining a sense of minimalism. Being minimal is the only way our new home will work for us. I hope you decide to stick around!

It's okay trust me at 43 I am entering an enlightened stage of my life, I feel like such a LATE BLOOMER. I promise it's not complaining, I'm just trying to figure things out. I want to live simple and I'm getting there, it's all about my journey =)

Erika, your doing great, little by little you will get it done. Im not one for pocketbooks i have just one only because of when i travle. I dont own any pretty shoes, it will take time I got so use to wearing sneakers with everything when I was a caregiver. Im still decluttering myself. Letting go of things is hard but something we must do. Seeing Adriana and hearing your husband in the background was nice. God bless you and your family.🤗🤗🤗🦋💖

Hello Lisa. It's okay to take it slow, as you said it will all get done. I love wearing tennis shoes now, you would never catch me in them before. There are so many nice styles these days. I've had to film when the kids are home from school, that's why they are in the background. Trying to get on a better schedule, with time. Hope you have a good week. hugs friend!

Hey Erika, you are doing a great job! It's always so hard to go through those random boxes/drawers/cabinets! The eye product seems so nice and relaxing! Awwwww, it's so hard to let our kids grow up and it's hard to let things go that remind us of when they were little. I am also an Adidas girl!! They are so comfortable! I know it's definitely long, slow, and hard in the process but you will get to the point of maintenance mode! Thanks for sharing!💖

Hi Joy! I felt like I escaped from reality when I first tried the eye mask, I was not expecting that feeling at all. Blew me away. I'm having a hard time watching the kids get older, I want them to be little forever BUT I need to change my thinking and enjoy the next few years to the fullest! It's so hard. I'm pretty much done with my decluttering but it's taken years and I've done layer upon layer. I love purses too and it took me a long time to manage to get rid of them even if I hadn't used them for years. Finally I could let them go. Looking back it would have been so much easier if I hadn't got so much stuff to begine with, but it's easy to be wise later down the road... I wish younger women would learn to not fill their homes with stuff, so they don't have to deal with all the clutter. We don't need it just because we like it!
