Hello and Welcome to SheWolfMom! My name is Erika, I am a wife and stay at home mom of 2. I started my channel to give myself accountability/motivation to get things done around my home. Cleaning and organizing isn't something that comes natural to me and I've been working extremely hard to change a lifetime of bad habits.
We moved and downsized in the summer of 2022, I shared the entire process with you in a series called "Decluttering to Downsize". My journey has not ended as I navigate this new living situation and strive for a minimalist life style. I'm not an expert, I am simply sharing my thoughts and struggles along the way. I rarely get in my son's room and my husband's office and I'm sure both of them are in desperate need of cleaning! My daughter is like me and keeps her room nice and clean! I’m here watching. To me your home is pretty big 😅. I think it’s cuz my house is on the smaller side. Can’t wait to see how u organize ur kitchen. I try to organize mine like once every 2 months. Really just depends. I probably should be doing it more 🤣
Hey girl! Thank you. It’s a decent size, I just have to learn to make better use of my spaces. Every 2 months sounds fair, especially in a smaller kitchen. Girl I’ve never ever reorganized my kitchen until I moved back into this house. Now it’s a must! Have a wonderful week.
I have a 16 and 12 year old. I’m going to help them soon declutter the clothes in their closets and dressers. We are going to Portugal the end of the month so I need to see if I need to buy clothes for the trip.. Great motivation video 😊😊
Hello! Our kids are similar in age, mine are 15 and 11. Decluttering before a trip is perfect, it’s helped to see what we need. I want to do my closet too but I am running out of time. Have a wonderful trip to Portugal. Thanks for watching 😄
Looks fantastic girl!! I feel there is absolutely nothing wrong with helping out our teens deep clean their rooms. I dunno about u but even I sometimes let my room get crazy then circle back to it. He is lucky to have a mama like you bestie ❤

Hi Erika, Mikey room came out so good, really like that shelf. You can get a guitar stand for his many guitars that might help some. Your hubby under the bed was so cute and to hear you laughing was nice too. The weather here has been over 100 the other day it was 108 with the heat index. Hi Lisa! TYSM! He was so happy with his room. I do need to figure out what to do w his guitars. I want to tuck them in the closet but my hubs thinks they should be out, ahhhh! I have to compromise sometimes lol. I do want to add more hooks to that particular wall, maybe that will help some. It’s definitely a hot summer, I’m ready for fall 💕

Wow looks fantastic! Our oldest grandchild lives with us, he is 10. His bedroom is also for the other grandies but mainly his. He is fantastic at decluttering/letting go of things but likes NanaNoel to do all the cleaning hehehe! We are in the process of putting a shelf up for all his Godzilla's etc. too. He stained it himself and one for my mums laundry who lives next door. Have a wonderful week. Love how gorgeous your boys room looks!!!!!!
We never allowed snacks in the bedrooms because I worried about getting bugs in the bedrooms. Of course that meant they snuck snacks in into their rooms 😂. Everything looks lovely ~ Janet 😘

I get it! C is 14 and I found the best way to keep his room clean is to make sure he doesn't have a lot of stuff in it...hahaha I know it's not ideal but it's what works for us :)

I love seeing all the declutter and organization. I also enjoy seeing the things you guys make or D.I.Y. Reminds me of the good shows on TLC. Ouch that must of been scary. I do have teenager too lol. I love how his room has changed over the years but it’s still him. It looks amazing and definitely felt motivated ❤

Hi Kate! I can see a smaller kitchen working with just 2. I feel like my kitchen was made to be a one person kitchen when cooking and washing dishes. It's a bit challenging with my family of 4. We make it work. I gather you are an empty nester? How are you enjoying it?
Hey friend! I clean out our kitchen cabinets every three months or so. I like your new cups! It's nice that they are plastic but look like they are glass. We use Mason jars to drink out of! That's so funny about the "lawyer" mugs! I was wondering haha!! One of my son's is a chemical engineer. He is starting his first job out of college in August! But he really loved the engineering program! You did a great job! Thanks for sharing!💖
Hi Joy! Since moving, I’ve stared to declutter my areas more than I have EVER in my life and I find it completely necessary, haha! Congratulations to your son, a very exciting time in his life. My husband is an electrical engineer. He always kicks himself in the butt for not becoming a lawyer, he started a prep course in AZ but realized he needed to put family first and stopped. Now he’s really counting on the kids lol 😆 😅

Hello. Thank you. I eyed a knife drawer organizer but as time passed I used my knife drawer for my teas. I felt it was a better use of space, but maybe not! Hehe. I’ll figure it out soon. Have a great weekend!

I declutter my kitchen draws every couple of months and declutter the kitchen every month or some other room will be decluttered. Hello Lisa! Thank you. That’s great you regularly declutter. Never in my life have I decluttered as regularly as I have been since moving. That’s why I gathered sooo much hehe. Never again! Kyra and I look through her clothes every few months. It’s crazy how this age, they grow so quickly and their style changes. Some clothes I decided to take since she no longer wants. lol. Kyra wants organizing items for her room so that’s what we’ll be working on next.

Hey friend! Another great video! Y'all did a great job decluttering! Those childhood memorabilia can be tough to let go of. I have found I just need to be ready! I STILL have things that maybe my kids don't even care about haha! That is so fun that y'all go to comic cons together! What a fun family activity!
