@Dumisani Nxumalo Thus guy is suffering from being a pathological liar. A mental condition characterized by the compulsive urge to lie about matters big and small, regardless of the situation.
What a bunch of crooks they are. This guy doesn't know how stupid and ridiculous his explanations are. But that journalist is not letting himself be fooled . Good job.
Robbie its not lies there is no such thing as lying within ANC . The word lie doesn't exist in ANC vocabulary to be precise there is no individual called ANC when it comes to doggy dealings , corruption etc .
And he knows that his story is not believable but I think he does not want to encriminate CR and is buying time for him to formulate a defence and a way out
It's because eNCA, like most corporate news agencies, are controlled by globalist shareholders who don't want certain news stories published. The protests happening in Canada is against all COVID mandates and that's why it's not publicized here. Some companies here still want to insist on implementing useless vaccine mandates and don't even know or seem to care what is happening in other parts of the world.
As a SA taxpayer i smell somthing realy fishy going on here with all this billions that our government as starting to borrow nowadays. Isn't it perhaps that they got that strange feeling as it comes closer to 2024, that the end of their corrupt governance is coming to an end?So that they've got only a short time to put the country into enormous debt into making a clean sweet thus leaving the possible new government with a worse nightmare.I hope all the opposition parties take note and not to ignore all this billions that they starting to borrow nowadays in the name of covid.,because they know foreign countries dont want to invest because of our political madness and corruption.Infact the word "CORRUPTION" is becoming more popular then the word "DEMOCRACY" in SA and in Africa as a whole. So opposition parties, now is your time to make the people feel proud and take NOTE and ACT. 🙏🏻
Hell and heaven are right here on earth. We should be praying that these people receive their comeuppance here on earth, not in some imaginary place called hell. As the bible says, vegeance is mine, says the Lord. Pray and ask God to revenge on your behalf.
Gosh, this guy is pathetic. He needs to learn a few lessons from Mac how to be a good spin doctor. Nevertheless, I expected more from Ramaphosa . A billionaire should use his own money to fund his campaigns so we don't need to hear these juicy scandals now . My Rabbi always use to say 'Whenever I hear people say I wanna go into public service, I try to keep my wallet very close to my chest or in my back pocket.'
Ramaphosa is a deceitful liar. His office was furnished with evidence of such cases but he made sure that this is not addressed and at the same time the NPA is compromised and corrupt.
We all know that there are witches and wizards among us. But it does not mean that we must not protect the members of the community because of that. Thus we must not put individuals in boxes because of that.
Protect Cyril from what , Because its a well known fact that ANC used state money for most of their campaigns . Infect for me He( Cyril) protected most of former ANC leaders Who used Public Funds for their campaigns.
@@Khothithambo Spoke persons their Job is to protect their organizations, Parties etc. They are what I will like to call Profesional liars that after lawyers. It's their Job to lie Protecting the intrest of those whom they are protecting Rama here Shot Himself on the foot and there is absolutely nothing the spoke person can say to justify the Painful confirmed Truth that ANC has been Public Funds to support their campaigns
I don't understand the obsession with semantics here. It seems to me the most important question that everyone should be focusing on is; who used the state funds for their campaign/s and how can we recover such and charge those person/s?
No, the problem is the culture not a person. This culture was labeled Zuma thru the state commission. Pinning it to someone, will result to a repeated problem. No privately supported political party for the poor will be able to stand for the people in a greedy system… the private funders greed will want returns 😂
Ramaphosa stole the money case closed, No solutions to recover R500 billion how can we recover the campaign money??? That guy must leave nje weakest president we ever had. Things that are happening on his watch.... He is very careless we should had seen the signs from Marikana.
@@thabangmgemane1615 Just remember that corruption in ANC started 30 yrs ago Ramaphosa was not in power that long. When the commission try and hold some people ACCOUNTABLE, some people loot and instigate VIOLENCE. Blame the supporters
And if you take private sector funds for preferential treatment in government business deals, that equates to state capture. So anc not using state funds and rather using private sector funds is not a just alternative. Its the voters that should support the party, they should learn from the EFF. This is WHY CR17 is considered to be the hidden actual state capture.
Deflection why should you drag the ANC what a dumb thing to say.It is the ANC that is using the money! This just proves to me what I have been saying for years ANC politians of late are just .....!
As from 1:09 he say "Each one of us knows that quite a bit of money that is used in campaigns, in busing people around, in doing all manner of things...is often from state resources and public resources. And we can not kid ourselves when it comes to that". This is a statement, not a claim based on allegations as Mr Besani will want us to believe... anyway we shouldn't be surprised, to them ANC comes first and the country and its citizens comes last..
Why is it so easy for them to access money from the state to do whatever they please?? Also, this recording feels like a well thought out plan to leak this information. It feels like everyone knew he was being recorded and was trying to come across as a "hero" willing to "fall on the sword" for other people's mistakes. This to me, just seems like strategic damage control that only a shrewd business man can come up with. They calculated the risk. The ANC is a shadow of what it was meant to be. A dark shadow that has no regard for its voters nor the country it is trying to own.
Couldn’t have said it better. The public statement and “leaked” recording fit together too well. Very safe audio clip, it mentions just enough to admit guilt but not enough to cover the entirety of the financial maladministration. He’s going to have to throw himself onto a great many swords…
Oh wise one. This is standard NWO strategy. Give the victims a small victory to take their attention off the massive destruction we have been causing since 1994. This money was for the people. When are the people going realise that the ANC does not give a shit about anyone of us. CR is one of the ANC. If they had not used the money more of us would still have jobs and wouldn't need to beg. A the guy talking for Ramaphosa is playing politician politician. They talk a lot, yet say nothing and the truth is a foreign concept. LOOK FOR WHAT THEYRE HIDING. THIS IS A DISTRACTION AS IS ESKOM AND COVID! WHAT ARE THEY DOING THAT WE MUST NOT SEE?!!!!
I don't believe he says: "...it happens a bit." I believe his words are: "...heaven(s) forbid." That line is more in tune with his regular choice of words and phrases, and expressions used. _That hardly changes the context of the leaked audio though._
Correct, it sounds more like "Heaven/s forbid." Stop me if you think you've heard this one before, but I believe they are intentionally painting a vulgar picture.
Very astute Mr. Pratt, and we ask ourselves "What Difference Does It Make?". Politics. Bleurgghh. Like some torrid love affair. Sorry for the negative sentiment, perhaps I'm just feeling very sick and ill today.
What everybody fails to understand is that because a President of South Africa cannot be charged and trialed for crimes during his presidency, this will fall by the wayside. Also, because the ANC operates collectively , there is no accountability and therefore one cannot focus on an individual.
Baba Msholozi once said"Mina ngiyabazi bonke abatshontsha imali ngibabhekile, ngithulile nje 😂 and nobody said how can the president say he knows who are stealing money of the taxpayers and he's quite about it, I wish they could replay that clip for those who are trying to nail the president for what we all heard from people who were testifying at the Zondo Commission
The NPA have to act. They have a public duty to prosecute. If the NDPP doesn’t act there is a deliberate omission of her public duty and she is personally liable for damages
@@coolplot6336 quite frankly, I don't mind who leads, as long as they do their jobs properly, stop the grand scale theft and spend the money on us the people. Then, this will become a great country.
@@coolplot6336 I don't even understand why a politician or royalty must lead a country. The whole system just reeks of corruption and abuse or power. A change must come.
so this guy is sayin, if the public didnt know thru the state commission, they would keep this as a secret and continue using state funds for party campaigns. The ANC deserves to be dragged in the mud, protecting the ANC because the truth is out is not justification. "I would rather, than the public to hear"
Oh come on! He is saying nothing of the sort. He literally says there is danger that the public may find out what we here already know to be true and I am willing to sacrifice myself as a diversion to keep that from happening.
Can we all please vote for this news reporter to become the leader of the Hawks or SAPS.This is the type of people we need for a better and future for South Africa.
Foolish statement. One man cannot change things on his own. It takes hundreds of thousands of people to make a change. This mess would never have happened if millions of people had not voted for the ANC in the first place. Also, this dude is just asking questions that were given to him, he is just a journalist, he doesn't have the skills to head an investigation unit.
Well, Lindiwe Sisulu will have an open path to the presidency of the ANC ( who do you think did the recording and why has it been released now). So get Cyril out and let's see how much better things get. If Cyril goes we best pray and hope the DA can win.. the audio clip was only released to serve the purpose of individual goals do you want these kinds of unethical people governing. They will make Zim look like a walk in the park

The DA does not have capability to run the country. Look at the mess in the WC. Despite it being the most developed, they can't develop to cater for basic services, housing, water, sanitation, for the small population there.

This guy is trying his best to believe his own lies. Or those briefed to him. Well done interviewer for holding the line & not backing down. Why doesn't the word impeachment exist in the SA context of malaligned statesmen? Impeach CR17 for once.
Frankly speaking Ramaphosa must resign as a president of the country. It's okay the ANC can keep him because what he was saying It's true about the ANC cadres. They've been embezzling state funds for years.

@@alexandracoetzee2755 We can sum up the ANC leadership in two words... "totally useless!" We all know why and how CR rose to the "billionaire" position. It's not because he was an "astute businessman". It's because his "New Dawn" bosses gave him the billions and he is working for them - not for South Africans. But, then again, I'm going to be accused of being a "conspirator".
You are wrong. Ramaphosa is actually protecting Zuma in this audio. Ramaphosa was referring to the campaigns up until he was in office. His campaign was pid by white monopoly capital but the ANC campaigns have been run using public money.
RAMAPHOSA is in trouble! ZUMA's ALLIES arranged well the recording of this audio, but at the end he says he was the first to request strictly guidelines on funding companies. The question is what exactly exist as proofs and is this enough to prosecute him or those who made theses practices? He also says he would do anything to clean the image of ANC.
Media must get full story than peacemeal, president was clear to name someone whom may be ask or question when discussing in their meeting. So media must avoid perpetuating a particular narrative. For BANTU he must just shut up ......
That is not an acknowledgement, it is a warning to ANC that there are talks about ANC using public funds. He says we all know that it has been said. Cyril Ramaphosa is actually saying 1. There needs to be TRANSPARENCY 2. There is a need for clear guidelines on how to run champagnes. 3. He is raising a concern about allegations and expressing that he hopes it is not what is happening.
Oh please, are you trying to convince yourself. Maybe you should listen to the audio again. The first sentence: "....a lot of money, public money was used."
@@proudsaffa2357 The sentence you refer to is a quote from extracted from the inquiry's testimonies. Cyril did not drop any fresh allegations in that audio clip. Besani, how many task teams do the ANC need. Everytime ANC is brought into disrepute, there’s a commission of enquiry….a deflection tactic, no less! How much of tax payers money & ANC member funds used to fund the ANC has be squandered on campaigns, that don’t benefit the people, but rather the ANC elites!?
If there isn’t a basic level of trust in the most senior person in the government, it is very difficult to operate a democratic government at all. That’s the problem with the ANC they stinks in the nostrils of decent people.
The South African president admits that the state funds went only to one political party which helped him and his party. The questions to be asked are who approved/allowed the sponsor of the party's campaign? How long did the president know before the state funds were used?
I just wish the entire south Africa can watch this and see that the ANC is stealing from them. A bunch of criminals that should all be in jail for their crimes to South Africans.
It looks to me that he was addressing the issue. I mean was he not supposed to do that? He also expressed his preference of the public finding out that campaign spending is done legitimately than not. Nothing wrong with that. Sorry.
Yes people are quick to criticise Cyril , we wouldn’t be here without Cyril. This country would have collapsed long time ago, short memories South Africans heh!
The idiocy of those who cannot understand context is on display. The presenter of this program is, by his refusal to try and understand what was said in its correct context, ,perfectly demonstrating STUPID. I have personally experienced the insincerity of Cyril Ramaphosa, and would therefore not needlessly defend him. But if his statements are understood in context, then it is clear that he is acknowledging the misuse of public funds, and stating that it is worse than the CR17 debacle.
This is basically playing out how he said it will. He did say we will find out about public funds and there we are finding out. We are basically playing into his hand... this can't be a leaked audio things a strategy.. just my opinion
