Unpainted Army Attack (Warhammer 40k Comic Dub) 

I’d say not painting. Even a horrible paint job can have some charm to it and shows effort.

This has been an idea of mine. I call them "Renagate". Basicly they are space marines, guardsmen, tech priests, etc. who didn't pick a side during the Horus Heresy. They basicly fucked off and waited for the concluson of the heresy. To show their neutrality the "Renagate" left their armor and equipment unpainted.

That's... actually an interesting idea, really. But it isn't grimdark, so you'll have to add "And they eat babies" or something similar.

@@redacted2766 Funnily enough I actually got into the hobby for the game and not the painting. Thankfully I had a friend group who didn't care about it to play with so I could mostly avoid people like you.

@@thejuiceking2219 Hahaha yep that would work. I actually gave up playing a while back as members of our group moved to different corners of the world. Still got my 20,000 point Imperial Guard army though.

You know maybe I could have put a primer on at the vary least, but like a default gray to get what I was going for then I could have done proper shading

The only way to get good is to get good. Start small- a pauldron or a door or a head. Two thin coats, the paint should flow a little like milk. Simple green is your friend, because if you fuck up just soak it in it and try again. Its only a failure when you stop trying. Don't take my word for it. Believe in the Omnissiah, who has seen fit for me to share this knowledge with you.
