Yeah, I remember doing this for two of three hours because I forgot that slow motion was a thing, still completed it without slow motion though. Anyone else forget about slow motion?
I turned on slow motion but it didn't help me so I turned off and instead of jumping on those pillars I stayed around that switch by jumping constantly. 😅 It worked but it was so frustrating!
Question: Am I the only one that wishes this game had focused more on puzzles than these heavy platforming/execution challenges? I started playing this game because I needed a break from high stress games like Sekiro. I wanted a game to just sit and ponder and stare at the screen but almost all of the challenge levels were like this rather than puzzles. I really enjoyed the puzzle ones. These ones mostly just frustrated me. Also, I am soooo glad I looked up this video. I try not to look things up but I had been trying this level for about an hour and I was leaving one Yarny at the start and dangling the other one (because I thought you had to). I had almost gotten to the end of the level when I looked this up (I just needed to figure out how to get past the last spout of fire). I would have been sooooo pissed if I had beat it with one Yarny and then realized there was no way to get the second one down (I imagined once I got one through the fire would shut off or something and the second one could just walk down).
@@dennisthemenace4288 The whole game was optional. I didn't have to play any of it. I played it because I enjoyed it. I simply would have preferred to have the challenge levels focus on puzzles rather than platforming. I think the yarn mechanics in the game could have provided the means to create some really interesting (and challenging) puzzles while I don't think the physics in the game provided the best platforming experience.
@@jessiebullock Right?! It seemed obvious to me that is what you were supposed to do and it never even occurred to me to try anything different until I watched this. You could get one guy pretty far by leaving one at the top too so the game did not teach you immediately that that was the wrong strategy.
Ohhhh my gosh thank you so much!! This level look us soooo long and was giving me such anxiety! I never would have progressed past it without seeing your video.
I didn’t, but it’s because I forgot. I never used it in the main game. It was a pretty useless thing. Which is why so many of us didn’t use it here. So many got through everything without knowing it existed. I knew, but forgot all about it until watching this video and reading the comments. I never used it in the main game.
I was doing this one fine for a bit except for the bottom flames 🔥 the end, Jumping back To the next bullet shell to the right is obviously essential,. Then as soon as my daughter pulls this up… I immediately beat it without her explain g or looking at the walk-through. I think it honestly probably took us or rather… “Me” about 15 minutes to complete. I don’t think this one was nearly as hard as some of the other 2 ^^ challenges... Def different kinds puzzles 🧩 for different minds 🧠 . It’s amazing that after my daughter Completed the first one entirely on her own last year, & she was able to complete this game in 2 days & she’s 10. And it’s not like she played it constantly or anything. I was expecting it to be a bit longer, but I absolutely love the developers and I love their style of gaming. It’s a really cool story too. She completed many of the challenges alone too, or w/ me. Every time I would ask her to hop on my back so I could do the gameplay and she could be watch, she would get SO irritated with me LOL, “no dad I can do this! It’s my game!!” Definitely reminds me of myself when I was younger…
This level makes me wanna cry even with slow motion I like the puzzle part of the game and I get it supposed to be challenging but I'm not losing because of the puzzle part I'm losing because after my 20th time with slow motion I still cant seem to do it I feel like either way you have to have impeccable timing
Is this the final level??..I just beat this level and I had no idea you could slow down the game if you needed help?..maybe I should of payed attention in the tutorials
Thank you - we spend an hour by trying hanging on rope to found some coop way because we booth hate sliding without save spots - here is the word from F** hell literaly. After activation slowmo (first time) and many many fried cotton i do that. But wut...i like puzzle levels like many others here.
My way was to jump off the wall at the switch for as many times as possible and at the last possible moment jump to lower floor and land on one of those bullet shels. Solution shown in video looks easyer though.
To do it with 2 players is more complicated: One jumps off first and you yarn tether each other over the bullet casings. The first to jump is the first to climb and then jump over the flame rod. the 2nd has to do a tethered jump that will slingshot him or her over. You yarn over the bullet casing again and climb as soon as you're past the flaming grate thing. Then you jump and hit the switch. After that you both have to jump to the last casing on top and then down to the lower level. both players must then slip off the side jump off the same bullet and then over to the next shell casing and up it and land on top without hitting the flames above (repeat 2 more times, I think) It's doable, but with a lot more stress, deaths, and timing issues.
Am I the only dumbass who did this with one character at first?!?! I was so tilted when I realized I was supposed to do it with two also I don't understand how to make slowmo work can someone tell me I press the button and nothing seems to happen
Travis Wilkins I just did it without slowmotion, but is fucking tough, I’ll be having nightmares from this level. It took me in total 23:35. (From first-time seeing it to completing it) Never used slowmotion though
The person that did this level must’ve broken up with their partner because the level of difficulty is just unnecessary. I cursed the creator more than anything and even tho I saw this video I still can’t pass it. Hate when creators do this type of levels in such a type of game. Makes me lose interest in the game really fast. This should be more of a puzzle than this type of platform style. Completely unnecessary.
This is such a poorly made level...there's no way to tell how you're even supposed to deactivate the lower flames. I even just completed it and I STILL don't understand what got them to turn off. Some of the levels in this game are just piss poor and I'm generally amazed that they were even allowed to be put in. There's a fine line between difficult and unfair, and levels like this cross deep into unfair.
Do you see that fire sign? And "on off" below it? There is green lever that you jump on, it makes a klick sound and turns of the fire. It's hard because it's optional extra level
@@Limeocelot probably because it was too hard to be a core level. ‘Bonus’ - the ones which didn’t make the cut. By far the hardest. I though I had finished the game after this onne but back on the home screen there seems to to be a lot more to do. So it seems kind of non-linear to a degree. Which is weird considering the story arc.
When I died to the lower flames the first time, I saw the dial at the bottom had decreased slightly and my first thought was "Oh, it's another endurance challenge, isn't it?"
