Your garden is so enchanting. I love it. And I love the dandelion in your stitch book, but the whole thing is beautiful and interesting. Thank you for sharing your book and garden.
Thank You Marion. Im so glad I stumbled across your channel. I am a caring for my daughter, who has a disabling condition, and I have become extremely isolated. I found this time, in your company, so peaceful, comforting and inspiring. Your work is beautiful, and I am determined to find time to join you, get going on my own pieces, and learn something new. Also your garden is a joy. I spend long hours dreaming of having a garden. God bless you. Much love and appreciation from Yorkshire ❤
Welcome to my channel... I'm glad you found me...☺️ I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling isolated caring for your daughter. I hope you manage to find some time within your day to do something that enables you to let your mind relax. Crafting has always done that for me, most especially after my husband passed away it was all that I seemed able to do... I hope you are able to access some help in some way, although I realise it's not easy...
You are very talented. I have just found you. This is so intriguing that I feel compelled to start a book of my own. As a home seamstress I have lots of beautiful memories things in my sewing box. These are some things I’ve inherited and feel they should not be wasted, but used in a special way! I love flowers and your trees are Impressively Beautiful. Thank you for sharing 💕☺️
Thank you Lynda. I must admit that I really enjoyed getting supplies out of my sewing box and into the light of day... I loved every single moment that I stitched on this project.😊💐
Your stitching is exquisite!! You have very interesting scrap fabric and cross stitch samples. Love your wild and wooly garden too. You are talented in many different areas...and you paint as well????❤❤
Thanks Linda. I have had some of my scrap fabric for years. Sometimes because I thought it was too nice to cut up. But really it was just waiting for the right project 😊 It's been really lovely to actually use them. It makes my book so precious to me.
Well done on your video and importantly on your stitched book. I loved everything about this video. Your book is a reflection of you which is also seen in your garden and even the fabric on your dress. Thanks for sharing this. I’d love to learn more from you about how you created each page. Your voice is calming and I’m sure you’d be a great teacher 🌷
Thank you. I've got the next few pages almost ready to post. It's giving me time to sort out how I want to post going forwards. I'm having to learn a lot!
I like every bit of your book, you have such wonderful original ideas. I saw your video on the front and back and now this one. All of your work is beautiful! Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you. I'm pleased you like my video and the book. I'll be doing the third video about the book pages next week I think. I've lots of projects on the go at the moment... so there's all sorts coming up😊
Oh I hope you're really enjoying it. I've sewed since I was a child, but only recently started to do this type of thing. I've more pages to post and then I'll think about what comes next 😊
Having only recently discovered your channel and been so inspired I have decided to go back to when you started and it is so obvious how talented you are even though you may not realise it yourself. I am so looking forward to following you and seeing your work. Thank you ao much.
Hello Dagmar! How did you find me? I've only just started my channel and have had so many positive messages it's wonderful! I think Stitch club got me trained up to post things ☺️💐
These little stitched pages are reminiscent of days gone by when ladies would embroider to wile away the time. Very creative and I am quite inspired to have a go. Must commit to more stitching time. Thank you for showing us your pages l-6. x
So beautiful. That dandelion is a triumph! 🤩 I loved your video, sitting in the garden, chatting. It would be wonderful to watch you as you work on your pieces as well. 😊
Thanks Leanne. I wasn't sure if that was how people would like it to be. But in the end I'm just doing things the way I feel comfortable. It felt right just to sit and talk as if I was telling a friend.😊
Love it in your garden, heating the birds. Enjoying your work, love the book I would like to make one my self 😍 thank you for sharing your work very talented lady
I love dandelions, too. I once read a comment which said - if they grew in the Himalayas and cost £50 a plant, everyone would want one. Such underated beauty!
Dear Marion, Your video and stitch book is simply lovely! Your opening in the garden sets an inviting tone as does your voice and entire presentation. I look forward to whatever you share. I'm in the US and love sewing, knitting, crochet, and flower gardening. Thank you for sharing your little corner of the world.💖
Thank you so much for your kind words. It's nice to hear that there's still plenty of us around who like to do all the traditional crafts. Whereabouts in the US are you?
Que hermosa aventura y " travesura " diria yo , es encantador ! Recien hoy veo tu canal y ya me susbcribí , espero los proximos videos ! Gracias !!!😊🎉🎉🎉
Thank you. So lovely. A friend sent me your Scottish Travel Log video and I enjoyed it so much that I subscribed to your Channel and here I am watching from the beginning. ❤
Hello and welcome Farida. Thank you so much for subscribing too. I hope you'll enjoy watching the first videos. And please pass my thanks on to your friend for recommending me 😊💐
Oh yes please I would love to see more of your 100 days stitching book. It was beautiful and relaxing to watch and I certainly picked up a few ideas from you as I’m sure others did too… thank you 😊🇬🇧
Wow!!! Your book (and your talent) is SO beyond stunning and beautiful! I would definitely love to see more of your work, and would love for you to share some of your "how-to's" with us! I am truly in awe.... thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you so much Natalie! I will definitely be doing that sort of thing. I'm just learning about making the videos and using the book to get started really. I've got lots of ideas to bring to everyone 🤞
Thank you Wendy. So exciting for you to be starting your first fabric book. This one was my first one. But it definitely isn't the last. I'll be starting a new one soon that I'll show as I stitch. Maybe you could join along and stitch with me?
😅 It did cross my mind to turn it into a wall hanging! Some people did do that with their pages. But I am pleased I turned it into the book. It's so satisfying to hold. So soft and squishy. I do love it!
Absolutely charming, Marion! Can’t wait to view the next instalment (which will be right after I finish writing this 😂). I would love to be able to let go and be as creative as you have been. Love your style. Love the idea of a stitch book. Kind of like an artist’s sketchbook but for embroidery instead of drawing or painting. Love it. 😻
Thanks so much Chris. I think you just have to start.... Put your needle and thread in and see where it takes you... You might surprise yourself. I know I did!
Gorgeous work. Your years of experience shows, not only in the use of your stash. It was lovely to be able to be with you in the garden for a bit too. I didn't notice shadows at all.
More please! Brilliantly conceived and executed! I am currently preparing for donation my 30+ years collection of vintage to modern glass beads. I think I just found a use for the tiny size 13/aught beads I could not bear to let go. Thank you for this inspirational video. New subscriber here.
How wonderful to have all those old beads Sharon. I do have quite a collection. Most of mine are old, a lot are from my Mams' stash! I also have Victorian tubular glass door curtain beads. I keep intending to re string them for my back door but haven't got around to it just yet! Thank you so much for your comment and for wanting to see what else comes up too.
Beautiful work! Also, I love your garden and your precious kitty cat. I am looking forward to watching your other videos. Thank you for sharing this with us!
You definitely should try it! I hadn't seen one before either. But once I started looking them up I found lots of people are doing them. There's a lot of inspiration out there if you like a different style too. Good luck in making your own one.
Hello Jen. What a beautiful part of the UK you live in 💕 We came camping there years ago and it never stopped raining for the whole two weeks! The countryside was so beautiful though so I still have lovely memories of it.
Thank you for showing us your beautiful fabric book....I love your dandelion and the butterfly on the cover...I will look forward to looking at more pages...🌼🌼🌼
So beautiful, I especially loved the dandelion with the grass. Isn't it nice to use some old bits of things you made years ago? I did that in a book I made. I can't wait to see more of yours so I will sub.
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. Yes I always like using up what I have.... But I do seem to have lots of stuff... I'm a bit of a hoarder!
@@marionsworld24 Aren't we all? But now that a lot of my old bits are in book form I really enjoy looking through it. When the stuff was just in a cupboard I didn't see it.
