Wow, I love this AC routine! I love that the movements are out in the open, slow, and super clean. It looks like there are no funny moves at all! Everything looks so natural that it makes it all seem very impossible. Beautiful routine.
Respectfully this type of routine is called the ambitious card, and I dont know who came up with it but its very old and certainly isn't David Blaines routine, though David performed it often.
@@Darkskulledprince Dude, I didn’t know. The first and only time I’ve EVER seen this routine was on his first special. I’ve already accepted my fail. Move on, dude.
@@rowelle It's true, it's pretty much the same routine that Blaine performed and easy to think it's his invention, he revolutionised street magic and magic on tv.
Wow! I've taken a little stroll along a road with royalty and dabbled in an Italian college (you know what I mean... lol) but 90% of that was baffling! Amazing!! Please, please post Part 2!!!
I can’t wait to see part 2. That guy’s reaction is gold! He’s genuinely amazed. I’ve done a traditional version of this trick. But this performance is awesome, very smooth and very clean.
Love the simplicity and just pure magic in the spectators point of view...a clean ACR with a splash of Paper Switch added in....loved it, part 2 yes please
Nice ACR - Ben Earl is an amazing performer...shows that performance is everything (cause the intermediate magician could do everyone of the required moves) - amazing work ellusionist 👍😎
I have a coworker that has the same reaction as this guy. I couldn't get through the first phase without him running away, yelling, "Awe...hell no!!!" I had to catch up with him to show the rest of the trick. 🤣
Just goes to show for other magicians out there, do not take these routines for granted! Many of us do. But it could be someone's first time seeing magic in person, and many times it is. So give them a good performance, no matter what the routine is.
He is so smooth!! An absolute master at the moves and his performance style is amazing. The main thing I’m baffled about is how he does the whole classic palm bit without having the card ending up annoyingly bent after.
@@kimflores6359 any suggestions of something I should check out? Specifically for palming work? Personally I’m quite comfortable with left hand gamblers cop (although I could definitely get better) but would love to work on my classic palm to get it to a point where I could use it like it was demonstrated in this performance. Genuinely my biggest problem with the classic palm is that if I palm a card and hold it whilst the spectator shuffles, by the time I load it back on the deck it’s noticeably bent and doesn’t sit flat with the other cards. If you happen to know that a way to avoid this is taught anywhere, do let me know.
I performed this same routine recently to some friends and they were blown away, doesn't matter thats in old routine, its effective and its about how you perform it!! This release is not for everyone! Also, I wonder if all the people commenting things absout it being an old routine or they saw a move can perform it as well as this? Id like to see proof, can you amaze people with it? Post a link to your performance.
yup...magician's guilt/ cognitive bias will get magician's to think they GOTTA do "the move" super fast...when in reality specs generally have NO CLUE what is happenin, or WHEN...so always slow down
@@evolucien1309Yeah. You’re right. I guess misdirection would help too. As long as the spectator isn’t burning your hands sometimes speed isn’t necessary.
Most people have not seen ambitious card in person, we are here on the internet watching this, probably most of us saw this video because we already know some magic or are interested in the methods, this is about the timing, the attitude, making it seem like you aren't doing a thing, naturalness, if you don't like it, there is plenty out there to explore.
👍🇺🇸back checking your previous videos. Trying to catch up. Too much cussing 🤬 by the guy. His mother needed to put soap 🧼in his mouth when he was young.
That's the whole point of this release, it may have some new work, but it's not about that, it's for people who want to learn a new approach, it's not simply about the methods.
@timcarver9881 sorry to say if I can catch on to it that easily nothing has been improved. All the magic in unreal card magic is not new at all. It was taught when I got involved back in 2003. I asked questions about the project and found out that I had already learned what was being taught on unreal card magic. It's just another magician doing the same material a bit differently is all.
Congrats, genius. We all know that it uses palming, top changes, and the rest of the classic ambitious card routine. The idea is that spectators do not notice any of these moves. And Ben is one of the best for that task.
