I thought unreal engine 5.3 was the ultimate game changer, or was it 5.2 that will turn everything on its head? When everything is the latest greatest game changer nothing is.
every version basically has brought game changing features . 5.0 nanite lumen, 5.2 enhanced input out of beta, 5.3 nanite landscapes, 5.4 motion matching and retargeting. 5.5 nanite skeletal meshs. Those are just the cherries on top theres literally 100s of other amazing improvements from UE4 to 5.5
If people were willing to give it a shot, I would hands down be up to making movies or something using only UE. It can do just about everything with sequencer.
no, blender has many great qualities, my advice is work with both, thats what i do. might take some effort but you will know how to use the abilites properly between both, as blender for example. is still better than unreal in making 3d models from scratch, make great texture from scratch and more . and unreal is better in other aspects. so both together is a great combo to have
@@ixforces3489 thanks so much for your advice. I’ve already started learning the basics of blender modeling and will continue to learn it alongside unreal
I see it as ai is currently incomplete and unruly, dedicated software still has it's precision when one is disciplined. It would be nice to have an ai automate the long tedious tasks though
