Sir, please can you make a detailed video on baked lighting? with any random scene or Archviz scene would be very gratefull. No RTX , only baked lighting >>scratch to production. So that artists like me can also helped.. and Would be very kind bcoz sir ....Not everyone has rtx gpu thank you .
Nothing is as important as good lighting effects because it sits the stage for everything else in a space. I've noticed that the unreal engine has some of the best tools for creating the most realistic environments. If only they could find tunes the memory use for easier coding. Because as it is now the memory overhead is way to high to be useful in the kind if games that I've been working on. So it's either I have to use the unreal engine lighting system sparsely or I have to write specific code to do what I want to do. Maybe with Unreal 5 it will improve. Thanks for the video and for the information.
Thanks this is so awesome - it's cool to see you getting 'Lumen like' effects even in UE 4.27 because of your understanding of all the lighting properties - also that CTRL+1 trick is so damn useful XD
Great Tutorial! I have a question for you. Now that the GPU Lightmass is also available, which one you would recommend to use CPU or GPU Lightmass? Which one you use personally?
Great video as usual my friend. One question. Any ideas in how to improve exterior landscape (with grass and trees) cinematic renderings? I come from c4d octane and I can't get any decent results in ue4...
Is it possible to mix HDRI skies with a Directional Light? I'd like to see the actual sun and blooming sunrays from the Directional Light and also benefit from the beuatiful HDRI sky images.
Anyone has an issue static spot light doesnt work (like turned off)? I tried different setting under Global illumination suc has "none" and "lumen" but the issue still unsolved, very frustrated why such a core lighting function is not working in such a powerful software....
Hi! thanks for your great tutorials! I'm trying to bake lights in UE5 but lumen does not support baking, do you think there is a way to bake lights in UE5?
@@VRDivision I mean , when the mat is white/grey , the AO , shadows and GI look amazing , but when i change the materials , it doesnt look the same. So is it better to bake the light with my original textures and tweak accordingly ??
