Im in my mid 30s. The 90s and early 2000s were the worst. Being stick thin was desirable and if you had any curves you were considered fat. These were the days where magazines in the supermarkets were very popular. It was always body shaming celebrities and glorifying the stick thin celebrities. I remember it was lindsey Lohan and Nicole richie etc. Unfortunately I admit I am the happiest when im skinny but I literally starve myself but im happier because of fashion and im always accepted by men and I can say especially arab men. When I get a healthy mindset I put on too much weight and its been a cycle of skinny and fat. So its either skinny and no bum( still get judged by some) or big and undesirable fully. I wish society actually cared about personality more.
I’m sorry to hear you struggle with beauty standards, it’s always best to focus on being healthy mentally and physically rather than fitting ‘what society considers beautiful’, the right man will accept you for who you are ❤️
