Unreleased Super Mario Bros. movie 1993 YOSHI action figure 

Yeah I'm still missing the long head Goomba and the Devo Chamber and the Police Car, not sure if I will ever be able to get them though. Smart move on the smaller dino figures from JP.

I could be tempted to just get another from the guy that's solid and ready for painting, but again I am not so great at it anyway. But anyone skilled at it could make an amazing one for themselves. I will say the glow is a little weak and unable to keep much light, so reducing it any with paint won't leave much glow at all.

I would have coveted it a lot as a kid, so he's great to have now. It looks better in person, I had a hard time capturing it on video in normal light and dark here. Very detailed and textured, and that glow in the dark was just a great bonus.

It is one wild interpretation to watch now.

The others were blacklight reactive and there were some neon green ones. I don't have blacklight stuff so I went with the very old school glow in the dark.

Oh wow, I wonder if she was in her ending jumpsuit if she had the flame thrower, or her dress or dig clothes. They should have done the Shy Guy style trash men, unless that was what the patrolmen were, but I think that meant the other troop looking guys in the movie. The police looking ones maybe? Bertha would have been cool with the thwomp boots.

Hi, I’m one of the people involved in the discovery of the Yoshi figure, and even acquired the blue prototype featured in this video. Do you have any info on these other figures? (Bertha/Daisy?) I just checked every issue of Wizard from 1993 as well as their toy fair catalog. The sculptor who provided the Yoshi mold had no other info on potential figures but we are aware of a devolved Dino Koopa head sculpt.

@@mania4270 no it wasnt fine john and bob were drunk they didnt know what mario was until fans told them they were so drunk john and bob got hurt alot in the movie the directors were horrible hiring real prostitutes movies great and dark and gritty fir its comedy but it should of been the original idea of danny diveto and tom hanks in the colorful mushroom kingdom that a model was built but it was scraped for dinohattan the movie is good but the new mario movie proved otherwise but now nintendos talking live action zelda next

And the only amount of story was that king koopa is attacking a place called mushroom kingdom. And at the time, dinosaurs were a big association with Mario because super Mario world. For the most part, it was consistent with what we thought Mario would be. And it was fun. It's 90s cheese. And they still feel like Mario and Luigi. Luigi is more shy and soft spoken, Mario is confident and sticks up for his brother. IN FACT, THE NEW MARIO MOVIE LITERALLY RIPPED OFF THE PLOT POINTS OF THE ORIGINAL. 3. That's the problem with you gen z kids. Listen, stop acting like you understand the 90s or early 2000s, YOU WERE TOO YOUNG OR NOT BORN YET, AND MISSED OUT. Nobody notices or cared that they were drunk. Nobody cares that the production was a mess and with different directors and visions. Dude it's a cheesy 90s movie with cool effects, non stop action, one liners, in the vein of TMNT, mortal Kombat, or even the street fighter movie. These movies aren't meant to be taken seriously. They were fun, stupid, cheese ball movies that made no sense, but weren't bland. But hey I liked the new Mario movie too, but it sidelined Luigi for no reason, didn't have any real character development for anyone, and got popular off of a meme song thankfully because Jack black was cast. If jack black wasn't cast, similar to how Jim Carrey is the reason for the sonic movie's success, it wouldn't have made as much money

All problems considered the movie came out just fine as as intended. I think it just wasn't efficiently handling the money and costs. And then everyone's weird reaction to it "not being Mario" despite hundreds of references. There was already a cartoon if you wanted to see them use fire flowers and such. This was a crazy live action version the world just wasn't ready for evidently.

Super Mario World went heavy into dinosaurs which influenced the movie a lot.
