Removing loud background noise from a fadded 30 year old VHS tape allows the content to be heard fully - I don't see what you don't understand about that chum?
@@jamesmitchell8922 Look I weigh up the pro's and con's of using the software - losing some distant audio which allows the main audio to be heard clearly is worth it in this instance. The audio on this tape was terrible and needed fixing period. I can cut and allow audio like that to be heard with all the background noise but it just wasnt worth the extra hour of work to do it - people shouting something that isnt clear enough to understand in the original audio just doesnt give me enough of an excuse to spend the time on preserving. Hope that clears it up for you.
