The 1976 photo of me unrolling my Farrah Fawcett poster on Christmas morning. The photograph was included in a four part CNN docu-series called American Style.
Farrah Fawcett was one of the most spectacular and beautiful women of the 70s, an icon of the prototype of the beauty of that time. I think she was the platonic love of most of the men of my generation. LOVE HER FOR EVER. 💘💘😍💕❣️❤️🥰😘 *RIP*
Isnt it fascinating that Kamali thought the bathing suit needed to be tweak, but Farrah went with it and created the most iconic poster of the 70s. I love the fact that [apparently] Farrah wasnt bogged down by what others thought and simply wore the suit and got the job done!
At a Christmas office party, families were invited and we played the White Elephant game. Someone brought, and entered this poster, a six year old kid got it and started crying when he saw it. It was really something...circa 1996.
