Sure could feel each and every step you guys took! We were there in May 2017 - 3 of us all above 60! Thanks to Champak Deka for inspiring us! The local folks were very polite , spoke fluent English and they would actually whistle their names; it’s the mother who creates the whistle-tune when pregnant. Yes it’s a paradise out there and couldn’t help but plonk into the tempting cold clear water-- all exhausted, dog tired, sweaty and breathless! The local guys treated us to fried rice, boiled eggs and salad wrapped in leaves. The return was at dusk and a steep climb ( my sis said she was feeling like Spider-Man/ woman!) and couldn’t imagine walking back through rounds of two huge hills to reach that faraway light that you saw! I don’t think I’ll have the guts to try the trek again. Your video relived every moment! Thank you so much! Atleast now I can show my kids, granddaughter, family and friends the kind of hard trek that we accomplished..... and btw the dinosaur was awesome!
