I'm new here to this channel. It is all well thought out and very interesting. I used to be a member of Wayne DeFrancesco's website, which is also quite dedicated to Hogan. But what you have done here is more significant and pays more attention to detail. I like that. I'm going to watch some more of your videos and then seriously consider your masterclass. One of the things that made me quit the DeFrancesco site was the idea that I just don't have the athletic ability to do what Hogan did, as side-bend in the downswing has been an issue for me. But you have given me hope here, so thanks for that.
@@NoMoreSecrets.BenHogan just recently purchased and I am watching the videos in order. Just finished the "Lead Hip Myth". By the way, recently had the best ball striking day of my life at Southern Dunes Golf Club south of Phoenix, AZ (blue tees = 6,493 yards). Missed only two fairways, hit 14 greens-in-reg. Would have been close to par were it not for four consecutive 3 putt greens and an embarassing 8 on the final hole (water hazard) - so I could only manage an 80. Handicap index just dipped below 10 for the first time in 10 years. Looking forward to a continuation of a downward trending handicap index.
You present some good thoughts and concepts but you gotta hit some shots. Slow motion anyone can do but when forces are applied that is a different animal. There isn’t any modern swing or classic swing. There is just golf swing. What Hogan did isn’t too different from what Xander does. And I’ve got tons of Hogan videos where his left arm is not bent on the backswing so not sure where that is coming from, particularly later in his career. This is all a bunch of conjecture and opinion. Hit some shots displaying what you are preaching.
Been told arms occupy vertical space in the golf swing- high hands equals power? I have always felt your method feels right more natural but I tend to smother it left what am I doing wrong?
Chris I truly LOVE your videos and Mr. Hogan's swing. I have a tendency to re-balance immediately as I reach the top. Does this make sense to you? Thanks. Big G
Are you saying you are starting to rebalance immediately after you get to the top. Or your moving into rebalancing from the start of the swing to the top.
