Haha yes. To not contact anyone for over 30 years ... she wasn't all that far from Austin. She clearly did not have amnesia. She could have contacted her family at least once, whether by letter or phone, in that time. Something never added up to me even though Lorene clearly was not right in the head.
Something about people from the South, especially about the warm way they speak to you and tell a story for some reason hits me right in my heart. I can't explain it.
If the actor who played the prankster Todd Mueller looks familiar to you, that is because he was also in the segment about Donald Smith who was murdered while visiting his daughter in Idaho. His real name is Todd Russell and he also served both as a production assistant and host shoot coordinator in a handful of episodes on Unsolved Mysteries between 1989-1991.
That was the best reunion I have yet to see on "Unsolved Mysteries" . It would have been the second best had they not found the brother Heath . Best wishes to them all !
She came back quick for that cash,I wonder if she'd done the same if it was just the kids wanting to see her! And she received 100k , so much for that million!
@@deborahsunflower939 yeah it did look like a lot of them but there would have been fees and charges for that guy from the government to go out and do the work required to find her. I'm guessing that Unsolved Mysteries wasn't the first solution to pop into his head eh 😊
I know these are old shows, that one woman seemed to have a breakdown and the sister was like “she tried to get help from her husband”, you’re her sister, those are your nieces and nephews…step up.

I remember watching UM episodes on cable television before the days of the internet etc... pretty nostalgic to be honest. The host's voice and the shows theme song are imprinted in my brain. I want it as a ringtone
The end of Todd Mueller: "In April 2008, he pleaded guilty to violating his supervised release and was sentenced to four years in prison. He died in prison from suicide in July 2015."
When I watch these stories and hear about the ways the cops bungled cases or overlooked evidence, I wonder what in the HELL?!? It is a wonder that any cases got solved back in the day🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
The first one was in Chicago. There are a lot of murders on the south side and they are understaffed so if it remotely looks like a suicide that’s what they are calling, because it’s the path of least resistance.
It wasn’t a lot in reality and that was in the estate which isn’t real money until everything is sold off. More than likely land bought for cheap that increased in value.
That poor family in the last segment. I’m happy they’ve reunited. Hard to believe Wanda had 9 kids by 34. You’d think they’d make her an honorary Kennedy with that much time pregnant.
Both of these comments are hurtful. Why? Robert Kennedy was the only child of Rose and Joe that had several kids. When Rose and Old Joe had their children, everyone had large families, especially Irish Catholics.
@@joanodom2104 Yes, Irish Catholics, or just Irish in general, tend to have large amounts of kids. The Kennedy’s are the most well known example. It’s not meant to hurt, it’s meant to be funny, though I know I often try and fail in this regard.
They didn't. He got arrested and posted bail the first time. He then got arrested and sent to prison the second time, but he said he swallowed a razor and was taken to the hospital; where he escaped being handcuffed to the hospital bed. Then he was caught and arrested again under his actual name of David Livingston, and was sent to prison where he served his time, and was released.
So typical, too. If the suicide decision doesn't fly, then they lazily go right to the "drug deal gone bad" crap. He had a job...why the hell would he do a drug deal??
They said he was trying to save money for college in Colorado. He probably gave someone a ride or was transporting a load, and was killed rather than paid. Especially given how the shop was shot up.
Chad was jacked. He was at the wrong place & wrong time. He didnt look like he would go to south s Chicago for buying or selling. Theres still parts of chicago where certain races just cant enter into. Period. So he was forced. Then taken to this garage/storage to die. My opinion.
How about we aknowledge that parents need to stop gettin involved in investigations. Every parent thinks their kid is so perfect and are so naive. Chad was involved with drugs and was FAR from perfect. Got caught up and it cost him his life.
Give these kids this inheritance. Im having hard times because of this covid thing but giving my kids away instead of hustling & having faith in my Lord & savior Jesus yahweh & the leading of the holy Spirit of God isnt an option. Im sorry I shouldnt judge. Its just coming from surviving parents on both sides mom & dads family, got to make things happen daily.
Chad Mauser, super salesman. Selling pushbikes. I saw a bike shop sell three pushbikes, last year, I think. To three back-packer chicks. I saw their final fitting out and their departure north. I don't know about that. Better off with at least one of them with an international driver's license and buy a vehicle. You get god mobility on the flat with a pushbike but you're screwed coming to hills. And the things always have problems and they are a real theft hazard.
