I remember watching this show all the time growing up as a child. Robert is so iconic. His voice!!! R.i.p Robert unsolved mysteries will never be the same without you! 💚
The sound of this show is home, from the theme song, to Robert Stacks voice, even the segment orchestrations. An American classic. The podcast is also good!
To ease tension what would you do? Me, I'd make sure all doors and windows were all locked. And hide where nobody would find me. I don't know why but it's always scary. Like a horror movie times 10. Because these weren't just story's. These were real live event's. When the phone would ring I'd just ignored it. My parents always made it home at 10pm always.
It really does feel comforting, right? I almost feel like there’s something missing in modern times. It’s like something doesn’t feel the same or there’s a different vibration to the world or something.
Used to Love watching Unsolved Mysteries when I was younger and William Shatners voice brought it all back. Damn time flys If your reading this I hope you know that you are Loved and that your Life matters.
Scared the shit outta me as a child. I know this show by the sounds because I used to go to sleep at night while my mom watched it in the other room…. The theme music is some of the creepiest of all time.. Major nostalgia..
I used to love this show. In all the years since it started I've never seen a mystery show do it so well. Nor have I ever seen a narrator with a better voice for the job.
Did the show creep you out? Lol I always got scared to go to bed after watching this when I was younger. And in all honesty This show still creeps out still
I remember an episode about a WWII tank crewman who took up a little orphaned boy in his tank and the boy spent the rest of his life looking for that soldier to thank him for his kindness. Unforgettable.
I just read one called "my daughter Ayla" of a Turkish soldier (and fellow troops) who took a small Korean girl who was all alone in the streets with him for 1.5 years as they traveled and battled. These soldiers even built a school for the orphan children they found. Unfortunately when he left, he tried putting her in a box to take her, but was caught and he had to leave her. For 60 years they wondered and missed each other and finally reunited 60 years later 😭😭❤
If what I heard is true, he saw something unusual. That ship was not made by human technology, at least as far as we know about the technologies we have, no one claims that it is human either. So he saw something unknown to man, and it was some kind of intelligent technological flying vehicle. Maybe it's just artificial intelligence from the past or from the depths of space? Who knows what exists out there somewhere and here?
Looking into his eyes, even through video I believe him. The expression on his face and his voice tells me he’s being truthful. I think it’s equally possible that it was an ultra top secret aircraft or something alien.
the story is from the 1960s , back then computers where the size of bedford vans and memory capacity not far from a modern washing machines ...dear @@paulspuppetshows746
Robert Stack made Unsolved Mysteries the great show it was because of his fine narration, his elegant outfits and his professional and impecable appearance. He was a good actor in movies, and in Unsolved Mysteries he was an absolutely and wonderful host. Rest in Peace always Robert, you are sorely missed. 🙏💐
And now my middle daughter watches it with me now today I hope that this is a memory that she has too. I mean, how could she not? It’s unsolved mysteries
I was terrified with our basement as a kid seriously after watching this show in the 90s. When I was younger I would be so afraid to go to the basement. Because I would imagine the killer or killers so how broke into the house.
Totally ,me too. He seems credible along with the psychical evidence such as those unique burns marks and uncured mysterious sickness health professionals coundnt understand properly or cure. He definitely saw something out of this world. I wish I was there haha
I admire Steven Michalak; his son however, comes off as a narcissistic prick. When invited to lecture on his father's encounter he ends up making the whole thing about himself.
I don't think any of the UFO stories could be dismissed: Roswell, Rendlesham woods, Kecksburg, Betty Cash and Vickie Landrum were beyond credible... the only one I heard was questioned was the Canadian UFO regarding Diane Labenek that involved "Guardian" an anonymous source who happened to be on her property with a camera who taped the UFO encounter she witnessed.
There is a reboot. It’s a Netflix show now. They have 2 seasons up, and I’m looking forward to the third season dropping on October 18th, if I correctly recall the date.
@Fecalage tbh, the Netflix reboot SUCKS and is nothing like the original. They honestly have no business using the UM name for their show. I don't expect them to duplicate the show at all, but they could have just modernized a few things, but it's a completely different show altogether and isn't anything special. Even the stories themselves don't seem like they have the same feel to them.
Yes well in Russian they are still in the habit of teaching their children things they had learned during war times. Like language in neighbor countries around them.
@@jaxl1931yes true western culture is designed to destroy all other cultures gradually, it's sad especially when English is not necessary the most spoken language. Chinese is huge all across the board exception of south American. And then returns to English been the central communication between Arab and African countries on the other side of India. Because of the hundreds and hundreds of languages and dialects it's more than the rest (excluding the many forms of Chinese, Chinese traditional/simply/Mandarin/Cantonese) Japanese is only two forms which is considered the same as English in England, proper English and broken English/slang.or Would be the same as in American.
I’m 36 years old and have long since grown out of my childhood fear of ghosts and UFOs, but that theme music still sends chills down my spine as it did when I was a kid lol
lol this poor guy is just following his passion for collecting rocks, and ends up being set on fire by an alien spaceship after seeing there was a discoteque inside.
Polish, because it was his mother language, German, because of Nazi’s occupation, Russian, because Communism occupation and finally English, because he immigrate from Poland running away from horror WWII
I grew up with my mom watching rescue 911 then this right after..The sound creeped me out so bad as a kid and still does today..lol and the hosts voice sets the tone and really made the show..Wasn't the same without him..
Wow that officer went way above and beyond to save that young girl! It is Men of unbreakable Integrity which he is in possession of that keeps these dirty politicians up at night while they work hard to sell off the land that young men lost there lives over! Salute to him and beautiful classy and very grateful she blossomed into! Just a great story
@@jaenicole23 yes. My mother's father. His second daughter Freddrena is also in the video. She is being inducted to the Illinois supreme court this Friday. He would be proud.
You know that happened. And when that guy said "flawless like milled from one peace of steel" ext... I was oh shit that's what Bob Pasar said " is was flawless with no rivits and no seams as if it was melted wax or a hello mold."
Love this show, it was great and one of the best programs on TV. Robert Stack was an excellent host with a great voice, looking professional with his impeccable presence, always appearing very elegant as it should be for TV. He is IRREPLACEABLE. You are sorely missed, dear Robert 😢 Rest Peacefully always, dear Robert, Rest well. 💐🙏.
I'm a grown man and I use to watch this when I was a kid and the intro music use to scare the heck out of me and now that I'm no longer a child the music still scares me
As I kid, I always got a very weird feeling especially at night when we would go camping at falcon lake, just something was not right about this place, so, probably not surprised to hear much later on in life that something like this had happened.
I’m addicted to this old show even though it was made far before my time 🤷🏻♀️💯 it’s just interesting to watch especially when I’m trying to sleep I especially love the main man that is the narrator the way he says who knows maybe you are watching and can help solve this mystery lol 😂
The fact that he mentioned the sulphur and puking makes me believe this guy 100%!!! I spent the day puking and had the sulphur odor after my encounter. Also my face was completely red like sunburn but it didn't hurt.
I think that they put off a powerful electromagnetic power that powers the flying saucer's . I also was abducted in 1967. They don't talk with their mouth . The communicate with telepathic powers . They can also get into your memory and take any kind of technology that they want. They love to brag about how much more superior their technologies are than ours. They are not our friends because I was threatened with death or being put in slavery if I told of it too anyone. But, that has been since 1967 today I am 59 years old and not afraid to tell my story. So, tell me about your abduction if you can .Id like to know what you went through.

That is a man of integrity, may God bless him and each and everyone that one way or another coolabrated in this documentary to bring it to us, congratulations and blessings to each and everyone for your outstanding, impecable well organized documentary, from endless summer paradise Puerto Rico Jesús Torres.
Wow i saw same in Missouri, spun counter clockwise and underneath seemed to look the same with a "fan like" spin......they do fly at tree level too....southeast Missouri had a lot....
@@bizonc i saw it too when i was 7 in 1983, one summer night we sleep in our home yards..just from nowhere i see a circular object directly above my head, i think it was less than 30meter, was so bright in orange color, no noise whatsoever, i call my sisters, my bigger sister keep saying my god what is it.. in this moment object begin slowly descending.. my sister shouting its coming down its coming down and all 3 of us running to the home, shortly after my parents who hear us rush to the yard but object was gone.. i really wish staying and see what was happens next.. i did not afraid at all but my stupid sister inducing fear to me ..
It is. Im still trying to find the one about a canadian woman who lived on a lake and got the craft to move with communication with a flashlight.. Took photos ' crazy' lightning looking shots. THE KICKER is a local reporter came to interview her about the ' b.s.' ..while he was interviewing her he felt something in his ears, he mentioned it , the she said " you can hear that?" " go out back and both saw, did not hear, SAW ONE floating next to her house... Bro it was so quiet the women had to point it out while he was looking out over the lake.
Yeah but there's a problem. The shirt NO ONE mentions wat happened to his shirt. That shirt wud of had the same markings left on his stomach. No pictures of it NOTHING. Why? Cuz the shirt DIDN'T have those markings.
It's a mystery why certain people have encounters like this man that end up with an injury. My own experience was not violent but the entity that confronted me when I was 5 just cursed my life. For years after that I would hear voices telling me to come fly with them and I would have body spasms in my sleep like I was falling off a mountain. The curse against my life could be seen as a form of violence because mind control and abusive dreams seem to still haunt me.
Was that a once in a lifetime event? You might have ptsd from it since it must have been a very shocking event for a 5yo. I suffer from ptsd and have the same issue when I sleep. Hope you get better
First Steven tried English. When his English received no response, he tried Russian. Then Polish, and then German. And then Steven tried French, then Spanish, then Portuguese. Then he tried Mandarin, Latin, Greek, Aramaic, Hebrew, and then Steven tried Hindi.
Steven's mistake...If he only knew that all he had to do was speak Canadian to the UFO the Aliens would have instantly known that they landed on the earth's best soil and friendliest place. Duh...hello...why do you think the license plates in Manitoba say "Friendly Manitoba"
read that stefan finally got tired of telling his story because reporters and regular people would constantly come to the door wanting to talk about his story!! so he wrote the story down in a little booklet and told his wife and kids anybody comes to the door wanting to talk about my story give them a booklet so they will go away!!
No wonder the craft left abruptly after hearing German speaking it probably thought it landed behind enemy lines. So lesson learned, if I ever encounter a landed UFO not to start speaking German or it will poison me with some unknown radiation and make me sick for life. It's not like any German ever did that to anyone. Oh...wait...right...I am Jewish...I remember now.

They found his car at a park, and parks like that are notorious spots where gay men cruise. They left out that AJ was gay. It seems likely they he met with foul play while cruising at the park, looking for a partner, unfortunately.
It's funny his son said "I dont want this thing dragged on so it's never explained" like sir, do you know you're on a show called Unsolved Mysteries? 😂
