I have the same lip peeling issue. Try changing your toothpaste, i used to use colgate and grew allergic to the foaming ingredient. Now I use Sensodyne (You can ask your dermat for more info)
Vitamin C should be stored in a dark or opaque bottle to prevent oxidation. Exposure to sunlight and oxygen causes vitamin c to oxidize, which degrades the ingredients and makes it less effective. A dark, tightly sealed bottle is key to ensuring your product lasts its full life.
Hey...for the lip peeling condition I would highly recommend ghee/clarified butter and coconut oil. Both of these have great healing properties and worked for me. Also,love this routine as I have heard great about these products
I think, after a point of time your skin just doesn't need or cannot absorb more products no matter how good they are for you. Idk if it's just my skin. But clean water and moisturizer works like magic on me. A sheet mask once in a while
Hey Prakriti.. why dont you try fragrance free products for your lips, they will definitely help.. just a simple Vaseline would be good and will help with a compromised barrier issue. :)

@@liyamolbabu5639 hey. Ever since I started using my ponds super light moisturizer on my lip also my lips remain hydrated and they have actually changed colour from purple to pink relative to my brown shade. The Hyaluronic acid is what keeps my lip healthy. Try it

lactic acid 3x a week at night/tretinoin on nights you're not exfoliating (if you're a tret veteran or as long as you can tolerate it) + follow up with sunscreen in the morning (and be diligent with reapplication other wise it will hyperpigment again). also helps to use IPL/ laser on upper lip hair. patience is key :-) This is what worked for me

@@mahimaromanoff847 tbh I use alpha arbutin on targeted acne scars, I haven't tried it for lip pigmentation. Also I've been using alpha arbutin in combination with exfoliating and tretinoin for around 4 months now and I still have the acne scars, albeit lighter, but it really does take a long time
@@xx-eo1xw wait. R u Indian? Can u please tell me which tretinoin product? So far I've only found retinol serum and retinoids in derma co and other brands. Haven't found a tretinoin yet . I'm also using peeling and retinoid serum from derma co and honestly I've been seeing improvement in my skin tone overall but I have my whole forehead extremely tanned which is not going away.
Heyy I have the same problem. I'm an oily skin type so I don't know if it's related to that but skincare takes a long while to soak in compared to others. I've made peace with it. Maybe some people's skin is like that. Anyway my pro tip that works wonders: switch on ac or put a fan to your face while doing skincare. The product soaks right in .
Hello both of you.. Skincare should be applied from thinnest to thickest. Snail mucin is quite thick. Any product with lighter consistency (except oil) should be applied before snail essence. By the way none of "The ordinary" products pair well with snail mucin. It will peel.. other than them it usually doesn't peel with proper order .

I don't know if you take suggestions but it would be great if you can do more Indian bridal makeup (especially alia bhatts makeup) tutorials which is also good for photos and videos. The beauty salons just overdo the makeup istg.

@@ayesha7708 then you need just cleaning moisture and protection I have combination skin type i use face wash and moisture from brand name "simple" if you have oily skin then go for gel based face wash and gentle to skin moisture from this brand if you have dry skin then go for other products of Dry range from this brand and it is also for sensitive skin . Both products will come under 350/ per and it will last long because for face wash just 1 drop is enough to clean the face and for moisture 2-3 drop is enough so it is pocket friendly . About sunscreens you need see youtuber jovita George latest video on sunscreens i use one of them and you can choose according to your skin type .. they all are very good but some of them are little higher then ₹500 still not over pricy but if you need good sunscreens you need to pay a little . For lip you can use Vaseline lip therapy the original one which came in blue and white tin box it cost around ₹187 right now in nyaka and right now nayaka is having durga puja sale so can get discount on other product too. Now as teenager i will tell you something from my experience Don't waste money on product which your skin don't need or don't buy products just because it hyped in market , other are using it or your favourite youtuber is promoting it. Buy if it's important & needed for your skin. If you are buying a skin care product then take extra time to search about that certain product & it's ingredient or if you need that product or not ..here is trick if you are rush buyer like me just save the product in wishlist for 2 week and see after 2 week you need it or not . If you need more details on skin care then see youtuber like Dr dray , Dr Vanita rattan, shreya Jain , jovita George they all on point and in detail. As a beginner don't try to experiment on your skin now it will compromised your skin barrier and as a teenager you don't need any serum so don't think about it now . Last most important as a teenager if you have some skin problem then go to a good dermatologist or doctor . Now i will end my rant here sorry for this rant but i can't stop my self from saying this because all this mistake i had done in past and wish that somebody had told me this thing in past so i want to warn you about it . I also have the exact same condition on my lips, mine too started almost a year ago don’t know why but i am guessing its because i used to use ordinary alpha arbutin serum at that time and it somehow reacted with my lip skin.. not sure though.. but i stopped using it and also my derm prescribed me a hydrocortisone cream but it heals when i use it but when I don’t use it the lips becomes like that again.. I don’t know what to do now 😓
I really really love this lip balm So cheap and I would say even better than lineage. It was so underrated when I bought it(2 yrs ago and it's finally starting to get over) but now people have started to buy it and I'm so happy. I wanted to ask what skin type are you? I am an oily skin type. I know the snail essence is really good for oily skin too and it's my next month purchase. I buy like 1 product every month regardless of sale and not all at once so I don't feel like I'm splurging lmao.
I use Dr. Dan's cortibalm when the situation gets out of hand for me. It's available on Amazon, it's pricey but that's the only product that seems to control the situation.
