Like he should be like “oh my fellow former SWAT officer who has seen tons of action and was a deployed NAVY SEAL before getting busted down due to his reckless partner, who I directly comment a quick display of support for before they got ripped apart by our asshole captain!” I guess if he’s cocky and always thought he could take Street in a competition, but like it’s no long shot to him. @brettvanderpool9546
@brettvanderpool9546 Месяц назад
1 it was a movie from 03, they were definitely using blanks. 2 kimbers back then were actually good, not the cost cutting junk of today. 3 it was pretty realistic, police tend to use whatever ammo they are issued to practice, which by nature of being officers tend to be hollow points. Which, as most people know, hollow points (especially for 2003), don't agree with 1911s. They were designed for ball rounds. 4 I have said this in another comment before, but here goes. Kimbers are fine guns. Meaning they are very nice to look at, and they shoot well, however, they are not glocks. Too many people have talked about kimbers jamming, without realizing they are range queens, they don't like to be abused. They like to be pampered, cleaned after every use, and never carried and beat up. They're tolerances are too tight, they can't be shot 1500 rounds before being cleaned, like a glock. Mine does just fine with hornady critical, and can run speer gold dot and cci shotshells. My coworkers remington can't cycle the hornadys, and my dad's springfield just doesn't care. People need to realize not every gun can be run and gun abused.
@hughlamont3696
@hughlamont3696 Месяц назад
@@brettvanderpool9546 I have 4 1911s. None of them have issues like kimbers do. My Wilson combat can take thousands of rounds without cleaning. It's not a tight fit or platform issue. It's a Kimber issue.
@brettvanderpool9546
@brettvanderpool9546 Месяц назад
@hughlamont3696 again, Kimbers are Range Queens, meant to shoot ball ammo at paper targets every so often, and look pretty. People who take care of their stuff have it run better than those who don't. A wrx, or lifted road princess truck, will need tires more frequently when doing races and burnouts, than the toyota prius that goes from point a to b at reasonable speeds. Kimbers aren't made like a springfield or Wilson combat, they are trophy guns. My personal collection has seen more FTE out of my stock berettas and glocks, than my stock kimber. More hangups on my berettas and glocks than my kimber. But I take care of my equipment. I would not carry my kimber for anything, that's the glocks job, but I enjoy small groups at the range out of my kimber, with only 1 failure so far in a couple thousand rounds.
@hughlamont3696
@hughlamont3696 Месяц назад
@@brettvanderpool9546 bud. A Wilson is going to outshoot a Kimber for groups every single day of the week. It is a vastly superior handgun with much tighter tolerances and it never jams. Kimbers are not good range queens. They are just bad guns that jam a lot unless they are pristine. That's not the mark of a good gun, it's the mark of a crap one.

If you rewind it, you will see him squeeze the trigger when it cannot fire. He also wayed the muzzel of his pistol around so much it nearly points at the other competitor.
