This car was homologated for the G2 class at Spa24 '03 or '04 IIRC, you can drive this in GTR2 game

To people who think that these are crap and not engineered well "suck it man" ! These cars were engineered only in terms of performance,the power to weight ratio,aero dynamics ,cornering ,stability,etc ! For reliability,they had a simple design as most British cars weren't like that ! I know most of the dislikers are Indians ,if you Indians think that you can do much better,then why did you build a crap DC Avanti?

Few incorrect details, probably due to reading stuff about the car. It has a 4.6 engine, not the standard 4.4. The bhp, 0-60 times etc are also understated. I own #10 which is photographed a couple of times in this video.

Never knew about the GTN variant but I definitely knew the Aero 8 existed. Still, 80 thousand pounds for one of these is a steal. Given that they built only 11 of these you'd expect them to be worth more. Maybe it's because it doesn't stand out too much from a normal Aero 8 aside from the hardtop.

The only reason I knew about this car before was because it was featured on Top Gear.

Yeah I noticed it was featured in season 5 while I was grabbing shots of it. I never saw that episode though.

I don't blame you. Good footage for season 5 in general is really hard to obtain nowadays on youtube/internet. Which is a real shame because some of my favourite reviews/challenges came from that season.
