I have a Construction company and do a lot of structural work with plansets made by structural engineers and they supervise epoxy rebarinstalls, beam and hanger installs, and shear walls. Does that work, I have been doing this type of work for over 5 years. Also, I have EIT for 2 years

In your case, it is likely that some of your experience can count towards qualifying for the PE exam, even though it is not supervised by a PE. For example, if you are responsible for managing and overseeing the installation of structural components, this would be considered engineering work. However, you will need to be able to document your experience in a way that demonstrates your engineering knowledge and skills. This could include providing detailed descriptions of the projects you have worked on, your responsibilities and duties, and any relevant training or certifications you have obtained. It is also important to note that some states have specific requirements for qualifying engineering experience in certain disciplines. For example, some states may require that a certain percentage of your experience be in structural engineering if you are seeking licensure in that discipline. To be sure, you should contact the state engineering licensing board in which you are applying for licensure to discuss your specific situation. They will be able to provide you with specific information on the requirements for qualifying engineering experience and how to document your experience.

Technically it could count if you use the Engineer-of-record argument. But I am speaking hypothetically on this.
