@@DannerrrrIn one of these videos I saw a Tasigur player cast a combination of their own Timetwister and ANOTHER player's Timetwister like five times. You gotta appreciate the journey as well as the destination.
I love cedh, but the low hanging fruit that is oracle is boring me and others to death. Players who win that way get no dopamine, no joy, and no exitement when they win. Its just over. You should feel proud and happy when you win in cedh. And oracle players rarely do.
Went and played in cedh tournament and there was 4 different people playing that combo and they all ended in the final pod so it became who could get the oracle combo first
you know we are in a midrange hell rn in cedh, yes turn 1 wins happen but probably less then 1% of games end turn 1, most games end around 5 or 6 and i have seen games go into 20-30 turns
This rarely happens. But my god that is insane to see. His heart has to be pounding when he saw his opening hand. When I try something like this, I usually just get countered.
there are probably around 100 viable commanders, and atleast 1 per colorcombination, not all decks are as good and a lot run very unique cards, the difference between even tasigur and cazur ukkima is pretty huge maybe around 20 cards then there are decks like magda which run a ton of weird cards like clown car and dwards
There are certain decks that are popular, like in every format, but no. Generally there is pretty good deck diversity. However, while the decks differ, a lot of them do run similar lists, with the same combos. The end goal for most decks are fairly similar, but how they get there and keep others from doing so is where they differ
This is where I'm starting to realize that maybe the luck counter should go away after you tap it for the color, I feel like that would make gemstone caverns more balanced
It's pretty balanced in my opinion you have to have it in your starting hand, not be the first player in turn order and you have to go down a card. For what essentially is a command tower and if it's not in your starting hand it's basically a usless colorless land you might be able to pitch to mox diamond 😅
I love cedh but we have to start our own ban list, everyone down here saying this doesn't happen every game is delusional at best. Not every game you're right but a solid 75% of blueless tables do. Get rid of breach get rid of thassa's oracle and get rid of adnas it'll open the table up immensely.
cope tbh, it makes ending the game 100x easier than other wincons, it only allows for this rarely. Like yes, I'm TOTALLY gonna spend 6 hours looping my deck and making swans because some fuckhead made me play it out, instead of just playing a 2 drop
@@bryantmoyle1706 true. But it's like eating the same shit every day. I mean ... you could roll a six-sided dice instead to figure out who wins. It's also faster than that.
You do you, some of us like other sports where people can win straight from the break (like snooker), because it doesn't happen as often as you think and it's seeing them play the best way they can without holding back that's our kind of fun
Is this fun? Does anyone like wasting 20 mins on shuffling, mulligans, and turn 1s to just immediately start over? This isn't even impressive. It's a played out meme at this point. Go play yugioh
dude i have probably played around 500 games of cedh and seen maybe 10-20 turn 1 wins it rarely happens, i have seen more games go to over 10 turns then games end turn 1
