This is disturbingly incredible. Kevin actually got the worst ending possible. -He got everyone killed EXCEPT for Josh, who is the only character that is better off dead, and otherwise kills a bunch of investigators. -He got the friendly wolf killed, which is only possible if you make friends with it first and THEN get it killed. Kevin really got the complex worst ending on his first blind run through it.

This is actually the one niche where Josh surviving doesn't get investigators killed, since no one else survived to tell them to go looking in the caves for him, they don't go down there for him to kill. So the highest kill count would technically be to have one other main cast member survive.

my first playthrough was a shitshow I decided to shoot ashley, decided to investigate jess's voice, and in the finale didn't realize the others needed time to run away individually so I thought they were already out and flipped the switch, killing everyone but emily who I was trying to kill the whole game

The part where Ashley refuses to let Chris in is especially brutal considering that if you wait longer before deciding who to shoot, Ashley begs Chris to shoot her since he “chose” to save her over Josh. Even if you wait long enough to hear her ask you to shoot her, she still won’t let you into the lodge if you actually do it. Ashley is the worst character in the game.

I would like to disagree. Hear me out. She's not my favorite character either, but she's definitely not the worst. She's been put into life or death situations and the only person who could save her is Chris. The developers even say she was mentally unstable at the end of the game. She begs him to shoot her because she saw him putting the gun to his head and she instantly felt terrible. The thing is, if you let the saws go down, she opens the door for Chris because at least he didn't save himself and they'd 'die' together when the saws would go down. She couldn't shake the feeling that she would be dead if there weren't any blanks, so Chris technically killed her. That's why there's a trophy that says Ashley 'Snaps'. So yeah, I don't think this makes her horrible but she's not the Best.

*as he debated to kill the squirrel he had a change of heart and wasn't controlled by call me kevin so he decided to let the squirrel live. after a while he went back to the cabin where all of his friends were playing monopoly so he decided to play, after a bit one of his friends win and i guess you know who didn't win - josh. because josh was pissed he went on a killing spree killing of his friends with a gun but a creature heard him fire shots so the creature went to investigate the shots to where the creature was also killed by josh (damnnnn he a badass). after coming down from a killing spree he decided to go to sleep. after he woke up he saw his friends all dead and wondered what happened then he sees the monopoly board and goes "oh. right" and killed himself with the gun because he couldn't bear the thought of killing his friends over not winning monopoly*

how each character died, if you forgot lol (in order) jess - after mike took too long to save her, her bottom jaw was removed from her face. matt - he was forced backwards from the cliff due to the herd of moose, then fell to the floor cracking his head open on a sharp rock. emily - after discovering the wendigo, she failed to defend herself and her eyes were gouged out by hannah. chris - after a failed rescue mission for josh, he had to defend himself from the wendigo. ashley refuses to let him into the house after he was going to kill her to save himself, and his head was ripped from his shoulders. ashley - she was fooled by one of the wendigo’s tricks and was decapitated thinking the screams were from jess and not the mimicking wendigo. josh - (im placing him here because it’s the last time we see him alive alive) he was dragged away by hannah’s wendigo and was forced to resort to cannibalism to keep himself alive. he turned into a wendigo afterwards. sam - when she and mike returned to the cabin, the place was overridden by wendigos. she was impaled by hannah’s wendigos arm after a failed destroy the cabin mission. mike - he killed himself so all of the wendigos would be dead by lighting the house on fire.

I know you are just listing the events of these videos but I just want to point out, just for fun, that another way Matt could die is if he safely gets away from the moose with Emily. After that they get to the tower and when it burns down, if you want Matt to save Emily he ends up falling, getting dragged away (most likely by a Wendigo), and as he cries for help the Wendigo impales Matt through the neck and out the mouth using a giant hook hanging from above. 9:06 Beth died right away and Hannah’s leg was broken, probably severely if she could only manage to walk from the fall to Beth’s burial location before starting to change. The real question is how the hell did the cops not find her in over a month with so many entrances? Did they not look in the massive fucking cave system with multiple places where they could have fallen in and been unable to get out (I know that’s exactly what happened but even if we didn’t know that it’s a very easy theory to think of and test). 9:57 Besides the Wendigo that the stranger killed, he captured any he found. Meaning the only wendigo that wasn’t locked up by him until the night the game takes place in is Hannah herself once she turns.

The caves were actually officially closed after the mining accident that caused the wendigos. No one was allowed to enter them because of the danger of another collapse, that's why the police/rescue teams didn't find the twins. The flamethrower guy is a whole different story, tho. He wanders the mines like they're his playground and still he didn't look for them

It's pretty similar to what chris did to her. If she opens the door she risks letting the wendigo in. So the choice becomes her life, or chris's. Chris had no trouble shooting her, she shouldn't have any trouble locking him out.

That tingly feeling when your body tenses up and you dont know what will happen next. Not this ''Demonic satan jumps into your face'' garbage. Every sudden loud noise can scare you, its not even ''scary'' per se, its just a cheap trick to startle you.

ok so here’s an overview of each character: josh - he invites everyone back so he could prank them for pranking his sisters which caused them to run away and never be heard from again. he is hurting from last years occurrence and he wants some sort of revenge. mike - he is the loyal boyfriend, to an extent from when he’s not fucking emily, and is the group’s sacrifice. he goes out and always takes one for the team whenever they are in need of something. sam - she is the innocent girl who is only aware of what’s happening after her bath. she is the physically able character due to her climbing abilities. emily - the bitchy character but also the most intelligent character with her amazing, forthright survival instinct. matt - the jock who is kind of irrelevant throughout most of the story. chris - the jokester who would do anything to protect anyone he liked, such as ashley for example, depending on your choices of course. ashley - the one who seemed useless through the first half of the game, but then brought more to the plate on the second half of the game. jess - she is the source character for the player to realise that there is something else going on except from there being a maniac on the mountain.

I know. I've played the game. But I'm not sure death isn't preferable to being turned into a wendigo. If you read that journal, or know any of the folklore about them, wendigos are people possessed by a spirit of hunger. Which means they're always ravenously hungry, can never satisfy it, and the transformations that occur don't look all that pleasant. Death might be the kinder option for Josh.

It's actually fairly easy to have everyone die. If they don't die during the game, the endgame sequence is very tough to get everyone out of. The easy way out is to have them killed at the point where you know "I'm making this choice to kill them"

Villain? He's been hunting wendigos and keeping them away from people all by himself for who-knows-how-long, and helping those in need of it! Was it for glory? No. Fame? No. Money? NO. He just saw it as a solemn duty to protect others from the vicious fangs of these inhuman fiends. And he did it well... until these jokers came by and got him killed on one, unfortunate night. At least he died doing what he did best - helping innocents and killing/imprisoning wendigos. The unsung hero of Until Dawn, Wendigo Hunter-Guy, will always hold a special place in my heart.

Howard the Alien no idea. It's so out of character for a wendigo that I can't believe that it was part of the final game. If I had to guess I'd say that she was somehow still aware of who josh is so didn't kill him and because he was insane that it didn't take him so long to resort to eating a corpse. A wendigo will tie up a victim for later snacks if it isn't pissed off (a lot predators do that in wildlife actually!). Since all the wendigo's we happen to see turn up dead (shish kebabs), Josh probably got enough time and escaped the ropes and being stuck there and all, he probably ate the leftovers thus giving him a chance to be immortal :D as a wendigo :T
