I found he most amazing little pocket in the bedrock loaded with great gold. And this was only after about an hour of panning. Tranquille River's public area is a great spot to go recreational gold panning. It is a free spot for anyone to gold pan and has better gold than most private claims out there. Gold panners can be seen up and down the river all the time and yet there is still great gold to be had by anyone.

Thank you for sharing your experience, first time I’ve watched you . When I was a kid growing up in Australia we we drove from Melbourne to Brisbane on a camping trip . We stopped for a picnic next to a fast flowing river like the river bed your filming in here . There was a lip over hanging the side also like the one dug out here . I was looking for fish and was lay down looking over the lip to see the fish underneath. I saw a thick vein of gold in quartz I shouted my Dad and told him and he just shouted back , Its fool gold ! I swear to this Day I was correct , my Dad never even looked at it . I was only about ten and haven’t got a clue whereabouts we were , I’ve questioned my Dad but he can’t remember. I’m now 62 and still remember that image. Anyway , I’ll be watching your great videos again I’m intrigued . 😊

To hell with anyone that puts you down. In my very very humble opinion you do a great job on your videos. Watching your videos has made me want to get out and look for gold. But where I live there is no gold to be found that I've ever heard of. So I get my fix for Gold by watching you. Dan this brings you pleasure and I get it having actually gone and done it too. USE TO RUSH to the house after day job and work my bring back buckets. Only stopped by the dinner bell or extremely cold. Have even found great gold in my home state. Georgia has great mountain gold, the heat is unbearable but the sweat provides a wash plant!.

This is only the second one of your videos I've seen. Not only do you know what you're doing but why you are doing it and teaching along the way. Thank you for that. I'm a Michigan prospector... No it's ok, we've got super fine and far between Placer gold. The slow pan, that had me thinking it was me pannin. If we don't pan that slow and slower, we loose those tiny pieces of skeeter poo out of our pan. Looks like you have your self an amazing world around you for a prospectors heart. Hey Dan! New subscriber...been binge watching your videos and having a great time doing so. You remind me of one of my best friends who has sadly passed away. You two look very similar with the straw hats exact beard and glasses and you both are very good and kind and know how to enjoy the little things in life. Spend days striking out to hit a nice nugget and it all pays off ,saw a woman with a GB2 smoke 2 guys with GPZ 7000s was priceless last month .Its not the size or price of your "tool" its your knowledge of how to use it
