Having G button for floor 0 just makes the floor numbering even more confusing. Because the hospital is built on a hill 2 is ground at one end, 0 is ground in the middle and -2 is ground at the newest end, and 1 is ground in the woman’s centre building. You can walk through each building without going outside on level 2.
Oh, yes! I hadn’t thought of that. You know what these small lift companies are like though. They don’t exactly go through the effort of doing everything properly lol! At least they had the 2 button as the green main floor though! So that’s the main thing.
The voice may have been added at a later date than when they were modernised, but MrMatt’s video from 2008 shows them also having the voice so it could have been around early 2000s when they added it.
Is that what the voice is called? Never knew that! Is that owned / made by any other company that you know of? I don’t think I’ve heard of any other lift components made by ‘Lifteknic’.
I’m pretty sure the other one in the set still has the original Express buttons inside, although that one wasn’t working both times I went. A friend of mine sent me a photo of them a few months ago. They’re pretty mangled up though, and all the buttons are blank!
